We hired Hunter Hill Cafe to Cater our events dinner. We gave them an exact number to prepare for. They had the specific number of plates, however they ran out of food before they ran out of plates. I had 9 senior citizens that did not get a complete meal. I called the manager to complain and left messages. They never returned my call. They finally called me looking for a payment and I was told we would receive 9 free meal vouchers, but he never brought them by. The reason I am writing this now is because I am still dealing with complaints about it. Do not use Hunter Hill Cafe for any catering.

What a find!!! Rotisserie brisket, barbecue, ribs and pork chops. I had a sampler plate with barbecue, ribs and brisket and it was outstanding. I got there just before opening for dinner and there was a line at the door with local people. All the fixings are fresh made including homemade macaroni and cheese as well as coleslaw. The collard greens are like candy they are so delicious. Wonderful staff and plenty of room to sit as well as lots of parking outside. They are a locally owned and operated business by two generations. Must stop by!

Well where do I start? Im not from the area so I decided to stop by while in town for training. The people were so nice and had no problems letting me sample and making me feel comfortable (even tho after I sampled the beef brisket, I knew that was the right choice for me). The food was awesome and when they found out I wasnt from Rocky Mount, they introduced to to new things and just made me feel more welcome. The strawberry cake was awesome. One lady told me I would be back, and she was right. Thank you ladies for everything

Everything on the menu is "home-cooked" and of the finest quality! I have not had Chicken Pastry this good at any other restaurant I have ever visited, it is as good as any my mother made, and believe me, that is saying something! If you are looking for somewhere that serves excellent homemade Southern cooking, look no further than Hunter Hill Cafe. The prices are really reasonable, the quality is excellent, the staff are super friendly, and the restaurant is always clean and pleasant.

All I can say is OMG, Hunter Hill Café has the best food bottoms down. I had them to do a family reunion for me which consists of approx. 200 people. The staff was on time, professional and the food was great. The price was reasonable, I had full service with delivery and had them to serve my guests. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. The owners, David and Kim are very sweet, friendly down to earth people as well.

They recently catered my family reunion. They was about an hour in a half late or more. We was told the chicken was going to be cooked onsite. The chicken was done when they arrived the food was cold along with water down beverage s. The customer service was terrible!! #neveragain! First time experiencing them & my last!

Breakfast Now Served! Hunter Hill now does breakfast...and does it right! My food was delicious! Winner for me was they serve fried chicken breast, paired well with my 2 huge pancakes. Apple jack lovers, they have some homemade jacks right at the register for you.

Hey everyone!!! I am currently an employee of the restaurant, and I just wanted to let everyone know that we are closed on Saturday and Monday. Tues-Fri we open at 11am-230 and 5:00pm to 8pm. Sundays are from 11am to 4pm.

i love it the food is amazing . i found nothing wrong with it . I would suggest the beef brisket and the macaroni with cheese . this is a number one spot for all of your home, grandmas kitchen cooking .
