Its obvious the old reviews have an issue with the owners. Lets get to the nitty gritty....place is what you would expect from a laundromat. NO FILET MIGNOT, AND NO HELD HANDS. They have free soap. And they are the cheapest place in town $5 for the super load(7-9 dollars elsewhere) Ive personally had no issues with the staff. And its right in the square so tons of great food while you wait for laundry. WIN / WIN (oh yeah their English isnt the best hence the perception of rudeness....They most likely didnt understand)

The place was reasonably clean. The kids working and hanging out looked very unprofessional. Then they blasted gangsta rap that was almost nothing but obscenities. I heard many times that "John" would flip if he saw this. He needs to remind his people that he is running a business. They should act accordingly. I will go elsewhere next time I need to do laundry. The place down the street is better.

This is the best place to do your laundry, the person who was there gave us , free laundry bag for washing a lot, free detergent, free hangers that I happen to be trying to buy, and free wifi! None in Akron nor north canton offers that service!!! Best place ever and hope you get that service when you arrive!!!

Called to find hours of operation, was given one closing time, then another, and they seemed surprised to have a caller. Did not pick up with "Hello, this is ___, at Highland Laundry" ... Wasnt sure I even reached the right number at first. Going to "Downtown Laundromat" a few miles down the road, instead.

This place is not the cleanest and the workers there are very rude! Before I went there I tried calling like 4 times no answer.... By the 5th time they answered with a attitude... I get there and the staff is glued in front of the tv watching soccer!? Wtf? So that was my first and last time going there!

If you want clean clothes this might not be the place to go as it is filthy. Dust, grime and old dryer sheets all over the floor. Employees are rude and unhelpful, equipment isnt great and there are a few obnoxious customers who seem to be there no matter when you go. Avoid!

Staff isnt friendly at all. The one day I asked for free Tide because I forgot mine at home, and she pointed me to their vending machine saying they dont offer it. If they dont offer it, they really should remove the massive "FREE TIDE!" sign out front of the plaza.

No AC just went there today 08/07/16. They do have the free Tide. Did not see any younger people running the place. Was clean maybe they should update a little. All together not terrible when you just need to use a washer. It was a little cramped.

Sure, its not the cleanest place, but whens the last time you saw a clean laundromat? Theyre not selling food, so I dont have a problem with it. Ive used their services several times and came out with clean clothes and a happy face every time.

My husband has dropped our laundry off there many times. Today I decided to do it and they had the audacity to ask me why I didnt have time to do it myself. I told the sexist jerks that I would simply take it someplace else and I did!

My first visit was alter two long sleeve shirts and dry cleaning. It took two week and they could not find the order. When I got it back, the sleeves were cut too short. Never again. Workers need to practice their english.

Dont listen to these two year old reviews. Great machines, clean (enough), low prices, AC, free WiFi, vending machines, good radio, and friendly service. Cant wait to go back and hang out with Valerie.

Nice inexpensive laundrymat. Offers FREE laundry soap. Usually fairly clean. Kind of small, but usally can find open washers and dryers.

Nice, cheap little place in the heart of Highland Square. No air conditioning, so try to go on a day when its not too hot outside.
