Called the company to understand rates at 6.30 am. The owner picked up (surprise...thought I was going to leave a voice mail) Well that was good that he picked up....but then he was rude- If the owner is rude, what do you expect his staff to be like?....I wonder. He was rude before he even got the job....what will they do after they get the job?. Shocking. This is what happened- I asked him if I could get a price estimate- he asked me when I needed to move. After I told him the date, he says his only estimator is available well after my moving date. Okay, may be that is true. Lets accept that. He then tell me to trust his company because he has an excellent rating with BBB. Now we all know that the rates with BB, Crags list etc are purchased by the business - ie expensive membership fees. No customer who knows how this operates really believe the rating with BB etc. So I told him so. He got so mad with me..."how dare you say that you do not trust the rating..and then he states I am not worthy of his moving company! I figured that out too.....but what is amazing is that the owner is pretty despertate to pick up calls at 6 am. I thought I was going to leave a voice mail. He picks up...thats nice, bit also shows he is desperate for business that early in the morning. Just sponsoring TV shows and subscribing to rating companies is not going to earn you business Mr Lupica.... a little free advise.

I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone. I have used them 3 to 4 times for a move and the last time I used them to store my furniture for 3yr. When they moved my furniture out of storage to my apartment they somehow dropped my weights to my expensive grandfather clock and denied it when I asked had the weights been dropped the blamed the damage of the box on deterioration from being stored for so long. The mover Shawn smelled like alcohol he said he had been up all night. When I called the company after I realized that the weights had been damaged the tell me some bs about coverage of 60 cents per pound and said that was all the coverage that I had taken out. I asked to speak with an ownerwho is nevery in the off which Im still waiting for that call from. So be extra careful if you have valuables that you need with this company. They have lost my business and I WILL NOT RECOMMENDED THEM TO ANYONE .

My girlfriend and I want to say thank you to Brad and Shawn! Our move was not an easy one. I loaded a large U-Haul and drove it here from another state. They had to move her, and then unload my 28 truck. Their work ethic was awesome, and their calm under pressure kept us relaxed. We also appreciated their sense of humor! Moving is not easy, and the anxiety of getting everything to fit in each room can quickly raise the tension. Both Brad and Shawn stayed level, and help solve logistical issues of furniture placement. This was, by far, our best moving experience! We highly recommend The Original Lupica Moving and Storage company for your next move. If you want an even better experience, ask for Brad and Shawn!!!
