for Real Smoked Meats, ALABAMA QUE IS THE MOST, BESTEST PLACE IN THE NATI, one of my favorite 3 BBQ places in the country. Ones in Meridian, MS. The other, Everett&Jones (theyre from Alabama too) are in Oakland and Berkley, CA.... I have been waiting for almost 3 years to try this restaurant since I live out of town. I finally had the opportunity. Sadly I was disappointed! The turkey tips and beef ribs didnt taste like they were ever grilled, maybe they were smoked, but it didnt have any smoked favor. In fact they had no flavor at all. It was just meat covered in sauce and not very good sauce. Also, my stomach is still upset two days after eating it. I would not recommend this spot to anyone and I will not return. I am a strong believer in supporting black owned businesses, I cant in good faith endorse this one.

The turkey tips were crazy good, but rib tips and smoked chicken were very good too. Everything had a strong smoked flavor, which I enjoyed. Very surprised to see some people didnt think there was much smoke - maybe batch to batch variation, but mine had tons. Original sauce had enough heat for me. Wasnt super excited about the cornbread or peach cobbler, but those are both just personal preference and dont affect my overall rating as the rest of the meal was every bit of 5 stars. Will return ASAP.

I had the brisket with cole slaw and mac n cheese.The food wasnt bad it just tasted like cafeteria food. Zero smoke flavor, just tasted like a bunch of sauce on plain meat. Not real tender, swimming in sauce. Good smoked brisket doesnt need that much sauce and I have never been to a BBQ place where they put the sauce on for you, its always on the side. Ordered online with a 20 minute pickup, got there in like 35 minutes, zero customers and they had not even started on it.

They brought the Food Truck down to Pete Rose Way during the work day. I have seen many a truck but they were efficient and faster then any truck that has been there, and the food was good. I had the smoked chicken mild sauce, and mac n cheese. Reasonably priced, nice portions, great service. Yall made me proud!!!!! Keep up the good work.

So good! I love bbq food and this place is at the top of my list. Turkey tips are the best. Great smoke flavor, the bbq sauce itself was exceptional and the sides are like no other! The cashiers are never too lively or friendly but they are never rude. The sides were inconsistent a few times far as taste but still good. Love it!

Very hot on the inside, no ventilation. Very poor customer service. Tried asking question and they made it seem like we were a nuisance. Asked to talk to management and he never came out. Small business owners need to realize that they way they treat the customer will determine how well they prosper. They dont have my vote

A hidden Cincinnati gem! I have to be honest, I almost always get the Turkey Tips when I go, so I cant speak too much of the other food there, but the Turkey Tips are AMAZING! Great people there. Always fun and polite and FAST! Oh, and the prices are great, too! JUST GO! You wont regret it.

Maybe I had a rare negative experience, but the food I got was terrible. The cornbread was so dry I couldnt eat it, and the turkey tips were tough and unflavorful. The staff was friendly, however, and the food came out relatively promptly- the only positives about my experience.

Absolutely a hidden Gem. Went there today and had the most delightful time. Nothing fancy just good and the prices are so reasonable. I have tips and side dish and lemonade for under $7.00 absolutely will return. Aris Beauty Bar we shop, dine and by local.

Im not sure how they cook their meats, but it doesnt include smoke. Zero smoke flavor. Hell, this stuff didnt even smell like smoke. As a barbecue joint, this place is a joke. However, they could stay open just selling their mac n cheese. Wow.

If the owner isnt working dont bother going unless you want to wait 30min for your food with no heads up on the time frame when ordering. Food is great but service lacks due to incompetent employees.

this is some good q. Fantastic food, great portions. Ambiance doesnt really exist, cashier looked really bored but Id come back if I didnt live 400 miles away.

Absolutely no smoke flavor on the meat! It taste like they boil the meat then slap some mediocre sauce on it. The sides were also bland. We wont be back!

Me and my wife went here to grab a bite to eat after leaving the park. Its right in college town. The ribs and greens, Apple cobler was off the hook.
