Not from the food, as it is decent A couple of things that didnt sit well with me. When ordering just water for lunch, the waitress didnt advice me she would be bringing a glass bottled imported Italian spring water from high in the European mountains blessed by monks, SERIOUSLY GUYS, that was more expensive than my lunch, of course OPENED when served so you cant return it. It literally doubled my lunch bill...for H20 that i really just wanted a sip or two??? Geeez, places that practice this are just sad :( Also, serving a vegetarian meat...not good...so we waited longer, the reorder took so long i think they just threw me back in the bottom of the queue, no rush on that?...hmmm disappointing service.

Service was excellent food was not good at all. Went there for the Linguine Bolognese. They had cooked ground meat with some spices and tossed it with linguini and then dumped marinara on top and called that Bolognese. Not even close. The worst part was that both dishes of pasta were in bowls and there was a pool of pasta water at the bottom. I had the Brocolli and Sundried tomato pasta and drained off at least 1/2 cup of WATER from the bottom of my bowl before I could eat the food. The Bolognese had more than that. The waitress was wonderful but that cant make up for the bad food.

This was my first choice today, but had to go to Nada instead. When I went here at lunchtime, the place was closed. It was closed when I went there in early February too. I learned from the restaurant staff next door that the owner had fallen ill, and was forced to close suddenly. I hope the owner is doing well, and can open back up soon. I hate to see this place close permanently. It always had great food at reasonable prices. Get well soon Trattoria Roma Owner.

Went there with my daughter before our show at the Aaronff. I thought they would be busy so I called ahead for reservations. We were directed to a table in the hallway. I finially went back to see how busy they were and there were many empty tables. I guess we were put in the hall because we were women. The server was very nice and very attentive. The food was OK nothing special. The treatment -very poor. I wont be going back.

My fiancé and I went for dinner here last night before seeing the Lion King at the Aranoff Center. We made reservations and they were ready for us when we arrived. The server (named Brent?) was AWESOME. He knew we were going to see the show and made sure we had our food quickly. The appetizer we had was meh but my gnocci pasta was AMAZING. We would definitely come here again. Thanks for an awesome date night guys!!

Pricey, but okay food. Presentation not very creative. Good pasta dishes. The bread was like regular sandwich buns, sliced. Bruschetta was soft with a lot of cheese. Cocktails were yummy (-creative Martini menu). Patio is nice and more pleasant than the interior, because there was a strange smell in the restaurant that we couldnt identify- mothballs? chemicals? bathroom?.

Food is average and overpriced. Screwed up our takeout order by forgetting the chicken we added to our pasta, but still charged us. Only Italian restaurant I know that ordering zucchini doesnt mean fried zucchini to them. Will not be going back and do not recommend to anyone.

My wife and I went for dinner last week. My wice had the lasagna and I had mussels they were both very good and the service was great. We had a young man as a server. He was very personable and attentive. We will definitely go again and recommend it.

BUGS IN THE FOOD !! Several co-workers and myself found little bugs in the water and salads before walking out. Staff dismissed it as coffee grounds. THEY HAD LEGS !! This was on February 17, 2012. STAY AWAY !!

Small and quiet place right in the heart of downtown. But that is the only positive thing I can think to say. Found food to be mediocre, service was just so-so, and I left there feeling a bit unsatisfied.

This is my second time here and hand down is the best Italian joint in town. Atmosphere is very relaxing and the food is fresh and out of this world! Do yourself a favor and come dine at this place!

Good food, very nice service. Stop by for lunch and the food was fresh, tasty and hot when it arrived at our table. The calzone was delicious!

Great italian restaurant downtown, the pork chop with portabello mushrooms was fantastic and the bread was delicious.

Definitely homemade. Sauce was out of this world. Lasagna was made different than I am used to but it was delicious.
