Being from Brooklyn, NY and growing up around Jamaicans. I cant believe how nasty this food taste. They can fool all yall Cincinnatians but if yall ever visit Brooklyn NY or Jamaica you will never eat here again. Their oxtail is freaking disgusting and super saltyyyyyyy no type of seasoning just saltttt!!! I dont understand how a grown JAMAICAN woman can cook this garbage and serve to people to eat. First of, your oxtail shouldnt have fat hanging of it. THATS GROSS!! and it shouldnt be hardddd. It should be falling off the bone. Your yellow rice is mushy and looks like mash potatoes smhhh. At my age of 28 and not being Jamaican I make better oxtail than this crap. I work in the professional field and sometimes I dont feel like making it. But you guys have motivated me to open my own spot and I will put you guys out of business. Because this is a disgrace to all JAMAICANS. I Know Jamaicans in the teenage years that make way better oxtail, curry goat and stew chicken than yall. The only good thing about yall is the jerk fries. Thats it. I see why Jamaicans living in Cincinnati dont eat from yall. This restaurant is really a disgrace. The worst restaurants in NY will put yall to shame. And I promise I will open an oxtail shack in your area and put yall out of business.. And then yall have the nervvvvveeee to only sell that nasty oxtail only on Fridays and Saturday and charge $15 a plate. smhhhhh Island Frydays wasss soooooo good in 2012 under the old owners. But now its pure trashhhhh!! You can fool these white people and americans but you not fooling me. You need to maintain quality at all times. Yall better get yall a new chef because this is a disgrace!!! Youve just lost a customer. And I will make sure no one I know ever eat from yall.

The food is good. My only problem is that owners need to invest a little money in the restaurants decor. The place needs a new floor. The paint on the walls (and trash can) needs to be refreshed. Someone needs to frequently clean the tables and put the chairs back, etc. The neighbor is changing all in the area for the better and the owners need to keep up with the trend......

This is the worst Jamaican food I ever ate . A waste of of nine dollars. . Me and my husband had to jerk chicken wings was not jerk chicken wings it was a BBQ burnt wings. The food has so much hot pepper ......is like eating a pot of hot pepper. Dont waste your time going to this restaurant if you want true authentic Jamaican Cuisine come to Florida and taste real Caribbean food.

Food was excellent, I was surprised when the cashier mentioned my free drink along with my meal... I was thankful because I was in such a rush that I didnt order a drink! But their drinks are wonderful whatever you do try their drinks with your meals! Very satisfying... my fish meal was perfect! Fish, rice and plantain ( including free drink) ;)

The jerk chicken was flavorful and they didnt take the easy way out by just making the chicken spicy (Ive encountered that at other "Jamaican" restaurants). The flavor was robust, the chicken was not dry, the beverages were all good and paired very well with the chicken, and the fries were perfect.

After catching the show in DDD I was determined to make a trip over so when I did land at Cincinnati I knew I needed to make a trip. And an I had I did. Dragged my entrire family and everyone loved the food. The Ford was unique and flavorful and decently sized portions.

Very good food. Service could be better in terms of being vocal with customers. Not much of a greeting or anything on departure either. Food again was a huge success. From their drinks to their beef patties and full meals. Everyone in the office are fans.

Its a nice place to taste some of the treats not available everywhere with a Jamaican flare locally. Atmosphere is ok, but the food is decent. Try the Escovich fish its a nice Snapper with a spicy vinegar and pepper taste.

The food is as a perfect match to the Jerk dishs in Jamaica. Your saving hundreds of dollars on airfare by not having to actually fly to Jamaica for Authentic food. Huge portions and cheaply priced. Bring your appetite.

Jerk chicken sandwich is 85% bun, 15% chicken. plantains were cold and dry. Restaurant is dingy and questionable. Staff was unmotivated, confused and not friendly. Overpriced. jerk seasoning did taste good. Pass.

It can be hit and miss. In the evening the tend to run out of plantains which is annoying since the are supposed to come with every meal. Somedays portions are great for two meals. But on busy days not so much.

The food is so good! They give you a huge portion and it doesnt cost that much. The place is a hole in the wall and you might wait about 15 minutes for your food, but it is so worth the wait.

Had the jerk chicken and greens. The greens were spicy yet flavorful and tender. The jerk chicken had a deep flavor and was tender and juicy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Ill be back.

This restaurant had very excellent service and the nicest, most helpful staff. The food has an extra kick to it once you take a bite. The place is small but the food is delicious

The chicken I had was just spicy enough to let you know its there, not so spicy you couldnt taste anymore In combination with the rice and sweet plantains, I was a happy customer.
