This review is for Café Sausalitos excellent catering. Though it will overlap with reviews of the restaurant, Im going to post it here because Google doesnt seem to have an alternative listing. My fiancée (now wife) and I foolishly wasted our time researching over 20 other caterers, getting a handful of quotes, and even having another tasting before we found Café Sausalito… if only we’d known about them right from the start! We truly could not find any reason whatsoever to use another caterer for our wedding reception. Sausalito’s food was better, their options were more numerous, they were more willing to customize their offerings, and (unbelievably) it was less expensive to have them provide a plated dinner than it would have been for almost all other caterers to provide a buffet. On top of all of that, Babu (the owner) was completely honest and open in communicating with us all the way through the reception, took care of all of the details that mattered to us perfectly and without hesitation, and was simply a pleasure to work with. Finally, I should mention that Café Sausalito was especially good about accommodating the dietary restrictions and allergies of my fiancée and some of the guests—they got everything right in this regard and understood completely after we explained our needs. Like I said, what more could you ask for?

Boiler Specialists

We used Cafe Sausalito for our company Christmas party in 2016 and everything was perfect. We had the restaurant to ourselves, the food and service were excellent. The staff treated us very well. I would recommend this place to any company looking to have a nice sit down dinner for their company. It wasnt too small or too bit, it was the perfect fit for the type of event we had. Will definitely use them again in the future.

The services was terribly slow due to a new manager and new server. I could overlook that if the food was worth the price. Crab risotto with imitation crab meat is ridiculous unless either advertised that way or with a $3 price tag (not $11).

I have been here 4 times in 12 months while on business in Cleveland. I find consistently good service and food. Excellent choice for a reasonably price, quiet business lunch.
