Took 45 minutes to get our food and there were only 3 other tables ahead of us. Ordered deep fried shrimp sandwich which had 5 shrimp on a stale bun. Grouper sandwich had the same bun. Our waitress blamed the 45 minute wait on the fact that there was only one person in the kitchen. Although others who ordered conch fritter appetizers after we placed our order got their food first. Interesting since all the food we order was deep fried, just like their fritters. Tried to talk to the owner but not in and did not return 3 calls. Staff said they did not know when the owner might be in. Got the feeling he is an absentee owner. Still felt he might have liked to hear directly from a customer about a bad experience, but guess not. Would have been 3 stars if food came out more promptly and 4 stars if the help spoke better English. But then it is a Cuban Restaurant. If he called I would have given him a second chance.

Amazing food, and the servers were very attentive and kind! Food came out super fast considering how well it was cooked & prepared. Highly recommended!!! PS. to the Betty lady who left a bad review, I think the fact that you took away a star because they didnt speak english very well, says enough about you as a person to conclude that your review should be thrown directly in the trash

Greate food and nice people. The place is very clean and nice Key West style decor. We were a party of 4 and everyone was satisfied withe their entries. I had a lobster creole with yellow rice and sweet plantain my partner had skirt steak with black beans and white rice with fried yucca and the kids had fish and cheeps all good. We ll come back again;. Thank you Captain Marcos

Should have known from the empty parking lot not to come here. We were the only car! Fish filets not fresh at all. Ordered Snapper and which we could not even cut into. Grouper filet was only slightly better but still tasted fishy to which I started gagging. Beware of trip advisor reviews, this place is terrible.

The cuban food here is outstanding. The churrasco is amazing, as is the chuleta com cebolla and the camarones al ajillo. Be aware that the restaurant recently underwent new management and is now called Maides Mediterranean Restaurant (they still have essentially the same menu as before).

Food was excellent, service was great. This is the tenth time going there. Have always had great meals. The mahi is tender and moist, the lobster bisque actually had lobster in it not like most places and the Cole slaw is creamy. The restaurant is small, but decorated nicely.

Amazing little place, the seafood is all great and the pork tamale is one of the single best things Ive ever eaten.! Best place close to the airport for flight crews. Once inside the scenery is just as good as the food haha!

Perfect ceviche. Fresh conch fritters. Huge Cuban tamales filled with roasted pork. And generously filled grouper tacos. Very rich and creamy homemade flan. The staff was very polite and attentive.
