Ordered food over the phone at 7:20pm and was told it would take about 20 minutes for it to be ready. Showed up at 7:45pm and paid only to be told it would take a few more minutes to be ready - not a problem. Next thing I know its 8:05pm and no one has called out name. Went to the pick up counter to ask when the food would be ready to go. I was told that the ticket must have been lost and that they would remake the order as well as provide a refund for the inconienance. As the new ticket was being created another employee went to the window to find the order had been sitting there all along and gave us our order. I asked for a refund since the food was now cold and was told this was not possible. I get the food home and requested no sour cream due to allergies and both orders had sour cream inside the burritos - had to throw them both away to avoid an allergic reaction. Ive given this new location three chances since they opened their doors and every time there has been a problem - usually minor - but this time it warranted a review. I will not be giving any business to this location in the future. It appears to be very poorly managed and staffed which is unfortunate since Ive never experienced this problem at the other T-Flats Ive visited in the Central Florida area.

Echoing the issue with Frank below. Ive been here twice and Ive decided to not come back. Ive loved T-Flats for over ten years down in South Florida and even the original on University is great but this one seems to be a let down compared to what Im used to in both service and quality of food. *Ticket times are awfully long especially with a half full restaurant *Ordered ahead, told fifteen minutes, once I got there an additional 20. Got home guac was queso, cant eat queso. Called and told them, they said theyd give me a free meal and app next time. Nice gesture. *Most recent time chips were stale. Big let down, they usually have great chips. *Ordered food without jalapenos, boom! Jalapenos. *Went up for a refill, staff was talking to each other and then stared at me awkwardly like I was in the wrong for asking for one. Other locations make the rounds proactively asking if you want a refill. *First time staff was great, second time no one smiled or looked approachable or asked how our food was. Like i said previously, other locations make this a priority. Service is mediocre and kitchen needs work. From what Im used to with this chain its not up to par, which is sad cause this place was my favorite quick Tex-Mex.

We go to our regular tijuana in St. Petersburg, it was like night day, no refills offered, took a very long time for our order and I did not see a manager at all which was really needed during our visit, the St. Petersburg Tyrone area Tijuanas always has a manager on duty who works right along with the girls on the floor making sure everyones experience is a good one. The Champions Gate is a new establishment and I understand there maybe some things to work out but thus is a chain that is well established, people have an expectation of what type of service they will receive, although you could tell by the look on some of the staffs face that they were no happier about the level of service they were providing than we were they were slammed and there wasnt mush they could do about it, it was busy but not that busy, I do hope it improves that could be a regular stop for us on our way home from Disney.

If I could give it a 0 I would. This people never know what the heck they are doing. Ive order take out at this place about 3 times and all 3 time have messed up my order. Im a local and live down the street, my wife and I love Tijuana, but this location deserve a 0. It seems like just a mess up on the order, but with the 3 orders adds up to $10 buck, thats another meal for someone. Also they take forever to have the order ready every time. Next time I know to pick it up literally 45 minutes after I call. If I ever go back to this location

On Spring break with my family visiting from up north. Was looking for a casual Tex-Mex place close by our hotel. So glad I found this place! The food is so fresh. Even the salsa was excellent. We had chicken burritos (one wet and one dry) and both were great. A lot of sauces to choose from at the sauce bar too. Great flavor, fresh, decent prices and all around great experience. We will be back!

I love this place and its good and close by but the service is so slow. The online ordering does not mean it will be available when you go to pick it up. I had to wait an additional 10-15 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. If I see a long line I dont even bother because I know it will take at least 30 minutes to get food. I wish they would improve this

Great atmosphere, nice prices, and good food options. Lots a good texmex food options for the whole family. Decent beer selection, amazing Hot Sauce selection, and a nice friendly staff. The place was clean and I would come back here again. The pico de Gallo, and burritos lacked a bit of salt and flavor, but overall was filling and satisfying.

I went to the grand opening which happened to be my birthday and the service was excellent. And been a couple more times. Very attentive and clean atmosphere. They were super full but even at that they managed everything great and made everyones wait worth while. Recommend 100%. The food was so delicious!

A just as all Tijuana Flats they charge extra for plain salsa. Something Ive never seen before at a mexican eatery anywhere. They want to push their commercially branded sauces like mango fruitcake and smack my ass hot sauce. NO Thanks. Will not be going back. I would give your business elsewhere.

Restaurant was clean, staff was so friendly and efficient. We arrived right when lunch was picking up and we still got our food quickly. We noticed that their taco shells are thicker than the one by our house back in Tampa. The food was fresh and the salsa was so tasty.

They s*** was nasty as f***. The beef was greasy as hell. And the chicken tasted like dog food. My taco had more lettuce and tomato in it then meat. I will NEVER go back to them again. Ive given them 2 chances at 2 different locations and they have failed both times.

When they first open everything was perfect still have friendly staff but the food not so good !!! My chimichanga was cold there was no lettuce was a little bit of meat not too much cheese..and I ordered in advance when I got there was not ready!! Very disappointed!!

Food is good and it is always crowded. Im not too keen on the interior decoration so I try to eat outside whenever possible, but to each his own! I love their tacos! And the amount of churros you get is worth the price of admission!
