My wife has been to this salon a couple of times with every experience being less than ideal. First time she went to the salon because she read online that they were decent. Unfortunately she did not realize the two reviews posted online were most likely reviews from the salon itself. None the less she tried it out. She showed her stylist a picture in a magazine that she wanted her hair to look like. As far as I can tell it was a girl with lots of blonde hair and a few strands of darker hair, maybe brown. My wife was so excited when she showed the stylist the pic, thinking she would have a similar hairdo. The stylist (Heather) saw the picture and said " Ok if thats what you like I can do that". After an hour or so my wifes hair was done. When the stylist showed my wife her hair, my wife looked instantly upset. Im no hair specialist but even I could tell that the colors on my wifes hair looked nothing like the picture she had selected for reference. Her hair came out looking like tiger stripes...orange and black. I thought it was kinda cool that she looked like a tiger but she didnt feel the same. Anyways, she voiced her concerns with Heather(stylist) and the lady said "I dont know what youre looking at but your hair looks exactly like the picture you showed me". My wife insisted she did not want her hair to look that orange. Heather was very obvious about her annoyance with my wife at this point and told her to go home and think about it. So she did go home but not before paying $245 and a 25% tip. Two days later my wife was back at the salon to get her hair fixed. Heather greeted her with a healthy dose of passive aggressiveness saying things like " I thought you were going to fix your own hair since you now so much about coloring". She took out the orange and put blonde in which apparently costs even more money. Me and my wife were under the impression that Heather was going to fix her hair for free considering the circumstance. Regardless my wife( who avoids confrontation) let it go and paid for the "consultation" AND hair coloring a second time. Fast forward 3 months and my wife has been talking about finally getting her hair done again. She told me that there are not many salons in the area so she was going back to eclipse. She made her appointment and the girl( didnt catch her name) cancelled 20 minutes prior to the appointment due to snow. Mind you, Ohio is known or terrible winters but this was no snow storm when the stylist cancelled. So my wife let go of worrying about her hair for a while. Nearly a year later from her first appointment my wife decides to get her hair done. I tell her not to waste our time/money on that salon but her reasoning is the same as last time. So we go again and after a year my wife forgets the name of that crappy stylist she had before. Her appointment is confirmed with "heather". As soon as my wife realizes her fate, she has the look of concern. She shrugs her shoulders an walks on over telling me quietly that this time she will be more vocal. So she shows her yet another picture of a blonde and the stylist says okay. She slops on some dye and puts my wife under the dryer thing and walks away. Ten or so minutes later she washes her hair. Then when my wife sees herself in the mirror again I see that same look of fear as last time. She insists that the color is too "brassy"( as she called it) and Heather argues with her saying its not that bad. The stylist working next to heather suggested she "tone" her hair to make it less brassy". Heather hesitated but my wife insisted so she reluctantly did it.Once again she shows her passive aggressive colors when she tones her hair and says lets go back to the washing station..again(as sarcastically as you could imagine). This time the hair didnt come out as a disaster but it didnt look like took much was done. My wife confirmed my suspicions when she said that she was pissed and that she did not expect to pay $140 to look exactly like she did before the appointment with heather.

I have been here before and really enjoyed working with Michelle, I had an appointment set for this Saturday (tomorrow) to get hair extensions cut. I called about 5 days ago and the receptionist on the phone said she wanted to make sure Michelle would cut them, She checked with her and she said that is fine and appointment was set, Today (Friday, One day before my appointment) I called to see if I could get an earlier appointment and they say they are filled booked which is no problem but then come back and says actually Michelle doesnt want to cut the extensions just to be safe... Seriously? One day before the appointment? Every other salon is booked and I leave for vacation in a few days .. Completely ridiculous! I really enjoyed this place.. If I had not called I would have went to my appointment and she would have changed her mind then!! I will not be back, Very poor communication and customer service skills.
