I have to disclose that I have been in the business for over 13 years myself and since Im not currently working in a salon -- was the reason I was looking for a place to go. First-- agreed-- they NEVER answer the phone. I dont know if the owner has had her own place before -- but this is a huge deal. I co owned a salon with another tech and its imperative to give good customer service. I bought a groupon and made my appt after several attempts to hear back from someone. When I arrived for my appt, i wasnt really greeted nicely. Owner was eating at the reception desk-- which is extremely unprofessional and tacky. I always would have new clients fill out a form for their info so I could send thank you cards. This is a perfect opportunity to gather info for repeat business. Well-- no forms. No nothing. My stylist was really sweet. Although she is very new and doesnt know the business which is unfortunate. She had real talent but isnt going to go very far working for that owner. The color I got lasted about 2 weeks before completely fading -- and I use the best products/shampoo- available. I was very disappointed. I use Redken Shades on myself and it isnt a permanent hair color but lasts a lot longer than whatever theyre using there. I feel really bad for the new girl because she doesnt know any better. This salon is lacking in so many areas and its such a shame. These small town, quaint places are often what a lot of women are truly looking for and it could flourish in the Falls area with a little help. Answer your phones. Call back clients in a timely fashion. Dont eat up front. Dont both go on a smoke break at the same time. Treat clients like they are gold--- because they essentially are and is -- what is going to make u or break you!! Customer service is key. When I was working in the salon I always built up a full book within 6-8 months because I knew how to treat people. Sorry ladies. But yall need to get it together. You absolutely wont make it how youre going. Groupon is an opportunity to gain clients not accessible any other way. Take names. Send thank you cards. Make clients feel welcomed and appreciated. Simple as that!!!

Firstly, as others have said they do not answer the phone. My husband owns a business and runs the business line to his cell phone in order not to miss a call when he isnt in the office and thus I have no understanding for a business who chooses to run all their calls to a voicemail. Furthermore after leaving five messages none of them were returned. I physically went there to schedule an appointment but by the time I made it they claimed to have no availability before my groupon for their service expired. I explained to the stylist that I would be willing to part with portions of the service in order to not pay more money on top of the groupon price. She assured me that she could work with me and that it shouldnt be over 25-30 dollars extra to get the full service of the groupon but we would discuss all that before she got started on my hair. On the day I arrived we again had the discussion about what services I was willing to part with in order not to exceed the coupon I had already purchased. I received half a head of highlights rather than the full which is what the coupon was for. She did a nice job on the hair but once it was time to pay she instructed the owner to charge me an extra 25 dollars any way. If I knew that Id be paying the extra Id have just gotten the full service. I felt that it was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had with a business. Enough so that this is the first time Ive felt compelled to create a google account simply to leave this review.

They never answer the freaking phone. They require you to make an appointment and never answer the phone?? I called 7 times. Then my husband went there and arrived 3:45, knowing they close at 4pm as stated in their website, and the place was closed. He knocked the door, someone came and he was told that they close 4ish. Very unprofessional. Stay away

I tried calling every day for 2 weeks (24 calls made) to get an appointment. They never once answered the phones and the single time they called back I was unable to answer. Very unprofessional. I would not recommend this salon to anyone.

Theyre both very nice people. I got a color here once and extensions put in another time. They gave me a lot of attention and were fun to talk to. I will be back to get my hair fixed bc its a wtf situation happened to it.

I went there for a balayage and hair cut and what they did was nothing short of horrible. My hair looks rusted and the highlights is definitely not balayage. I wouldnt suggest anyone to go for a highlight here.
