Ryan, Travis, Tony, and Charlie of Ray Esser & Sons did a spectacular job! The closet in the garage is cleaner now than when they got here and the concrete slab they had to cut from the surrounding of our house looks almost like it did before (see pics)! All four went above and beyond to clean up – even though it had rained and the mud stuck to everything. They were courteous and conscientious in communication and while physically completing the job. Far beyond what I had expected and I couldn’t be more impressed with the work they did. True professionals! When we bought our house we knew that the cistern had to go and we needed to hook up to rural water. Finding a plumber, we thought, would be the most complicated part of this process. Turns out that hiring Ray Esser & Sons has been the simplest and most pain free part of the process. Ray Esser & Sons came highly recommended by word of mouth from the people my husband works with as well and I now understand why! Within a week of contacting them they came out, gave us a quote and did two days’ worth of work. The whole process had one contact person which made communication between me and my husband easy as he was the one who they explained everything to, but I was the one who stayed home to be at the house while the job was done. I was nervous being here alone and about explaining what was done, but the men put me at ease, did a great job explaining, and even let me video tape the explanation so I didn’t have to remember it all. Based on my dealings with them thus far I have no doubts that they did the job well and that if something goes wrong, they will stick to their promise to come out and fix it. I would give them 5+ stars if I could. It is nice to know that truly professional companies still exist who employ skilled tradesmen and that you can trust what they tell you. If you had any doubts about hiring this company, I hope this review helps end those doubts. My husband and I are very pleased with our decision and will call Ray Esser & Sons for any plumbing needs we have in the future – they’ve earned a customer for life.

The service tech replaced a three handle tub and shower set in my main bathhroom. He arrived on time and did excellent work. After he completed this job I asked him to check out my sump pump that was about seven feet below ground level in a sump outside of my home. The timing was perfect because the motor and burnt out and there was three feet of water in the sump. The technician called and found a replacement sump pump and had the new pump installed within two hours! The great thing was there was no damage to my basement. I dodged a bullet today. I am very pleased with the service from Ray Esser and Sons plumbing and I would recommend them to anyone. They provide excellent workmanship at a fair price.

Rob Watters came out to our new building assessed what needed done, got us a quote and scheduled quickly. He came out and got the jobs done all in one day. He put on tempering valves, an expansion tank, capped off an old water fountain and made necessary repairs to our hot water tank. Great job done quickly and will great customer service. Rob took the time to explain everything clearly and made helpful suggestions without being pushy. Thank you again. I had 11 out of town guests. Our toilet became clogged and overflowed. I called Ray Esser & Sons Plumbing on a Friday afternoon but they were already booked for the day, but due to our dire circumstances they rearranged their schedule and plumber Rob Walters showed up within 30 minutes. He unclogged the toilet, and told me if there was any other problem to just give them a call. What a great outfit, very concerned for their customers. Rob Walters did a great job and was very kind and professional. I will hire them again in a heart beat.

Overall they did a very nice job. Work was scheduled the next morning after I called. The plumber arrived within the given two hour window and our sump pump was replaced quickly and efficiently. Plumber explained the features of the pump and the work that was done. Even drilled a proper sized weep hole and angled it down back into the sump. Total cost including a 1/3 hp Glentronics sump pump and a new check valve, $360. I wont hesitate to call them again for future plumbing needs.

Water heater failed (wouldnt light) and I called the office at about 11 AM based on Angies List reviews. Robert came over same day at 2 PM and discovered gas valve was defective on my old tank. I agreed it wasnt cost effective to get a new part for an 11 year old tank. He moved another appointment and obtained a new tank and installed it by 5 PM. He was knowledgeable and pleasant and cleaned up after the install and we were impressed. Would call them again if another emergency came up.

Esser & Sons are always quick to respond when we have a plumbing emergency on property that we are not able to handle ourselves. They go above and beyond to make sure the problem is solved in the best yet price efficient manner. Love how quickly they are in and out and clean up after themselves so it looks as if they were never here. Always keep us in the loop on progress so we know whats going on and how to prevent it in the future. Would recommend them to anyone for home or business.

Esser sent a plumber to my house just before Christmas to fix a low water pressure issue. After evaluating the job, he told me hed call me back, and then I didnt hear from him for a month until I complained to the company. To their credit, they responded within a day and have since refunded my service call fee. I respect Esser Plumbing for taking responsibility for their mistake. I cant recommend them for the work they do, but they are a stand-up business.

Rob came out to clear my storm sewer from roots. He came within two business days of my call which is unbelievable with all the rain. A competitor was booking 3 weeks out! He was professional, courteous and skilled with the sewer augur. He explained all the ramifications of the job and suggested ways to permanently stop the need for root clearing. I will use Ray Esser Plumbing for all my plumbing needs hence forth!

Rob came out this afternoon and I cant say enough good things about him. .... honest, fair priced, professional, personal. I needed him to "fix" things the home inspector said were wrong. He couldve been dishonest and tried to sell me on what needed done because I needed to finalize the sale of the home. Instead he just inspected and told the truth.....
