0 stars. I would just like take some time to share about my experience with Samco plumbing. First of all I found them through Googling Lakeland plumber. I called them out because my tenants in my rental unit had been experiencing a lot of water backup. I attempted to snake the pipe to the sewer myself and lost the head of the snake inside the pipe. When the plumber shows up to the house, my tenant tells him the situation, the whole situation including the fact that we lost the head of the snake inside of the pipe and that we had previoisly snaked the pipe and successfully cleared the pipe of water for about 2 days, then the problem came back. So then the plumber calls me so I could sign off on the work being done to my house he tells me hes aware of the head inside of the pipe but he thinks he can snake the drain anyways. So I tell him that I already tried that, it worked for 3 days and then the problem came back so I asked him if it does not work will you come back. He said yes all jobs are under a 30 day warranty. So normally I wouldnt agree to pay someone to do something that I already done 3 days before but he assured me that he thought he could clear the pipe or that he would come back and fix the problem. So when hes done he calls me back and tells me he cleared the pipe and that he heard the head of the Snake fall into the sewer. They prompty send me an invoice and take my money. 250$ to be exact. So when three days later the pipe acts up again I call the plumber out to fix the situation. I tell him I dont think snaking is going to work as Ive already tried that and I suggest using a retrieval tool down the pipe to retrieve the tool blocked up in the pipe. First he tells me he doesnt know what this is. Upon telling him that Im no plumber but I know what a retrieval tool is and that is a head used on snakes to retrieve stuff left in pipes. Then he says he knows what it is but his boss will not let him use it in the pipe. So I get off the phone with him and I tell him to do his thing just make sure the problem is fixed. When hes done he calls me back to tell me that he yet again snakes the pipe and that he has cleared it but now the pipe is no longer under warranty. I then asked him what am I supposed to do if this happens again and he says you really need to spend $2000 to have the sewer line replaced. So then the plumber leaves and when the tenant tries to plug in the fans into the outlet he was using the outlet no longer works. This Im willing to attempt to fix myself if indeed the pipes are cleared but three days later the pipes back up again. This time I directly email the company letting them know Im frustrated in the fact that theyre plumber has not only blown my electrical outlet, but taking my $250 for absolutely no reason apparently. After the holiday weekend I get a call from the owners wife who was very unpleasant and rude trying to not only deflect blame, but basically call me and my tenant a liar, saying that we never told the plumber about the head in the pipe. My only job as landlord is to get the problem fixed so lying to the plumber would only cost me money and time and its definitely not something I would do. After basically being called a liar by the owners wife the owner does come back and fix the outletfirst plumbers price on sewer pipe replacement to a lower number than $2000 but does not offer a refund for the first plumbers misdiagnosis. So when it was all said and done I paid them $250 to do what I asked them not to do and what I had basically done 3 days before, not only did the problem never get fixed, they kept my money and Susan, the owners wife, was probably the rudest person Ive ever talked to. If I can help one person save even $1 by not going to these crooks then I feel justified in this review. Fyi I called another plumber out and he suggested that we snake it from the sewer side and then flush it. not only did he correct the problem in 1 hour but he also retrieved my snake head lodged within the pipe. If i could give 0 stars i would.

DO NOT TRUST THEM - they are liars with no integrity. their plumber came to fix one sink line, drove grease into a connecting line, which plugged THAT line up and it overflowed my garage. I called them out to fix the problem THEY caused. they denied that there was ANY POSSIBLE CHANCE that his actions could stop up the ancillary line, which is just absurd. Of COURSE it plugged the hole - it was working fine before he came, now its flooding my garage. Since I was so mad, the owner, Susan, quoted me $64 to fix the secondary line. When the plumber got there, he said, no of course not, it would be either $128 or $189, depending on the service. Now I have to find someone else and pay them full price to fix what these people did. When we called, they would NOT do anything to fix the problem. It wasnt even fair to have to pay AT ALL to have him fix what he broke, but to pay full price and get lied to on top of that? No. No. You are liars, and Im extremely disappointed.

I work for a very large property management company, with over 3800 homes owned, in Central Fla. I had a gas leak emergency on a Saturday with a new resident trying to get service hooked up. Gas company detected a leak, and shut the gas off, until leak could be found and repaired. We do not have any gas vendors in this area, and my only other option was a company out of Tampa that our Tampa office has signed on as a vendor. I called your company, since the home was in Davenport, in hopes that you could help me out, and maybe ultimately sign you as a vendor. I called your office twice, each time explaining to your answering service, the urgency of the problem at hand. Each time I was told I would get a call back. I have been waiting now for 45 minutes with no call backs from your company. I have no choice at this time to go with the Tampa company, and will end up paying more, I am sure. Not a good first impression here.....

SAMCO to the rescue! We have a Home warranty service. When our tankless gas water heater went on the fritz, the warranty service sent a company who knew nothing about them. After many phone calls, they gave me approval to use a local company and would reimburse me. So, we decided to call Samco. And, it was the best call we ever made! Steve came out and diagnosed the problem within a short time. Then, we had to have a special part ordered that was located on another planet. Again, Samco found the part and had it overnighted. Steve came out on SATURDAY (even though that was not his normal work day) and fixed the water heater! We had a guest from Japan at the time and it was quite embarrassing to not have hot water. So, Steve is now known as the "Hot water Guy." We will not renew with the Home Warranty Service next year. But, we will call SAMCO every time we need anything to do with our plumbing.
