I have never had such a horrible time in my life trying to retrieve and locate my missing packages that are missing on this locations behalf!!!!!!! The worst of them all was when I was supposed to recieve my package on a Tuesday when I was off work, and I made sure I stayed home all day so that I could get it and not have them leave it on my doorstep for someone to steal or whatever. Well, NO ONE knocked on my door ALL DAY, or even attempted to leave my package or at least take it to the rental office, but hey, no problems. Maybe it was late or coming the next day...... Later I noticed that the delivery driver just came and put a "re-delivery" notice in my mailbox and left. I had no idea, so when I checked the mail, I was really dissappointed to find out that an "attempt to deliver" was NEVER made that day..... Thats pretty LAZY considering they wasted their gas and time just to drive to my neighborhood to deliver a re-delivery notice....lol. OK. So I called to re-schedule a delivery for the following day. Everything was good. But I decided to double check online and make sure my re-delivery date was good, and print out my proof. When I went online, it stated that my package had already been delivered the same day I recieved a "re-delivery" notice in my mailbox......same date and time posted on the notice. By that time the office closed, so I couldnt call. So I waited till the next morning..... When I called, a lady was very rude on the phone, and said my package was already delivered but she can "check" if it was still available by mistake or whatever, and she didnt end up seeing it there, so she put in an "investigation" for it and it would closed by the end of the week, so she said call back at the end of the week if no one calls you first. Called back at the end of the week, no changes were made to the investigation. And then I called back an hour later to speak with someone else and they said that the package was left at the rental office.... Why the hell would they leave my package at the rental office and leave the re-delivery notice the same day???? That doesnt make any sense. I called my rental office. They said they did not have a package for me, and they are very strict about handing the pkgs out since you have to sign for them and everything. Called USPS back. Told them rental office does not have it and that they want to know WHO it was left with, WHAT time, WHERE etc. And usps opened a new investigation. On top of that, the rental office spoke with one of the package handlers who happend to see my pkg on the floor at usps in gahanna and was wondering why it was just sitting there for so long. I brought this up to them and they said something like, "well its not here and that guy does not come in this area so i dont know how its possible he would have seen it" and bla bla bla. I called back to speak with the post master and the manager or whoever to complain about this. They told me to wait until the end of the day to see if that guy had put it out for delivery, and if it wasnt delivered, to call them back directly. All and all, i did recive my package THANKS TO THE GUY WHO HANDLES MY ROUTE and not thanks to the scum bags who work in the USPS office of GAHANNA or on the phone line. This is the worst service Ive EVER had with my packages, and its rediculous that I am going through the same exact thing again now, because they dont know how to handle the situation. I would not be writing this, but they are messing with me again on another one of my packages. The last time was roughly a month ago. It is now May, 2012. I Hate the usps of gahanna, with a passion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do ur freaking job!!!!!!!!!

The substitute mail person who had my route today was awful. I received two magazines addressed to my neighbor and two magazines addressed to a building on the next street. These were crammed into my mailbox with my mail and two packages addressed to me. I had to bend the box in the back to retrieve it from my mailbox it was wedged in so tight . Fortunately it was not a breakable item. My normal carrier is friendly, helpful and accurate. He would have carried the packages to my door and rang the bell. I know he deserves some days off, but please replace him with someone who can at least read.

Worst possible customer service. I was sent to this location to get a package. Its not there. They gave me a phone number to call to get my package (which Ive waited 15 days for). The phone number continues to ring busy. When I went back in to ask for help there answer was keep calling, its busy. The manager just kept waving his hand at me to leave. I told them there customer service 1-800 number sent me to there location, well apparently customer service doesnt known that there are two locations and I just have to deal with it. They are of absolutely NO help, go to any other post office.

We recently moved and Ive been trying to reach our former post office (Gahanna) for over a week. Ive tried every conceivable time of day, from first thing in the morning to right before closing and it doesnt matter, they HAVE to have the phone off the hook. It is ALWAYS busy or it just rings and rings (at least 20+ rings) and no one answers!! Our wonderful govt at work....NOT! If you cant run the post office like it should be run, then shut it down and let another nearby city have the benefit of the business. Get your act together, Gahanna! Your service is deplorable!!

I went to the post office in Gahanna on 6/27/17 at around 3:30ish. There was ONE lady working and a LONG line of people. She was so gracious, intermittently thanking everyone for their patience as they entered the building. She was MOST knowledgeable, kind, and professional with everyone with which she interacted. This lady should be commended.

Avoid this location at all costs! They have only one person working the window at the busiest time of the day 4:00 and the line is out the door. A bunch of stupid people who do not know how to mail things or bring items in that are not even packaged up really slow down the line. Definitely go elsewhere!!

Would not recommend this post office. Postal worker was very rude and seemed in a hurry to leave- at 5 minutes till closing was already putting up the gate. Did not take much care or gentle handling with my package. Will be going to the post office near the airport from now on.

These people were very helpful to me. A package I was expecting was delivered to the wrong (nearby) USPS location; I called and explained I could only get to this location. They arranged to have it sent over and I was able to pick it up within two hours on the same day.

Why does this post office have a computer made sign posted saying "NO CELL PHONES"? Big Brother has no right to post such a sign! No wonder USPS is having difficulties. I will do my best to not use USPS.
