I work down the street from this Post Office and walk to it on my break to ship packages. I have found that like others who reviewed, the wait time in the lobby can be extensive if a clerk is out. But unlike other reviewers, I have not run into the same issues with the clerks themselves. The issue I have seen time and again in this location is the top heavy management structure they have. I will watch a manager walk around in the lobby filling out a piece of paper that is USELESS when it doesnt help to speed up the process. That manager should be behind the counter clerking instead and if they dont know how to clerk then they have ZERO business being a manager. There is nothing more frustrating as a customer than to watch a manager sit in the lobby and apologize that he/she does not have more clerks, yet they are just leaning on the rail waiting for the next customer to walk in so they can fill out a useless piece of paper to look like they are working/helping. I gave this location a 3 star rating for the clerks who I see each week that do their best to move people through quickly and who are always helpful with my questions. Management is 100% the problem I see there.

Had a package sent using the USPS Surepost (total misnomer, btw), meaning UPS sends it all the way to a local office, which handles the actual delivery. The UPS tracking number gave a specific date and time that it was dropped off at this location and the UPS customer service said this Clearwater office confirmed receiving the package. After several attempts to call the office and my call not going through due to their phone lines not working (and it was their line; I work in telephony and our offices phone calls can be monitored on the server they go out on - the server logs reported a SIP code that indicates the recipients line is not working properly), I finally got this office on my fourth attempt. After giving the tracking number, the postal worker put me on hold briefly and then parroted back the information that was already on the USPS site, which claimed that they did not have the package and was awaiting receipt of it from UPS. She got very snotty, curt, and defensive when I gave her the date and time the package was left at this office per UPSs website. I wound up having to cancel the package entirely and request a refund from Amazon.

Pluses: Gorgeous architecture inside and out. It really contributes to the beauty of the downtown area. Service is usually very fast. I have never waited more than a minute in line. Negatives: The window closes before most people get out of work so if you want to conduct business, come on a Saturday or take a day off of work. The clerks do not offer consistant services. I recently sold three identical items of identical value on Ebay and the price was supposed to be the same regardless of distance and the shipping varied so much that item that shipped at the high end was twice the cost of shipping the item at the low end. The different clerks will give you different information about how much insurance and signature confirmation etc will cost or even what you need to do to ensure proof of delivery.

I didnt like anything. In fact, if I could I would give negative 5 stars. I just moved recently and successfully completed a change of address form which I received confirmation from to my new address that it was changed etc. Anyway I get an envelope today with an old Christmas card in it and a nasty not from the postal carrier who delivers that mail saying to "STOP USING YOUR OLD ADDRESS!" Then the mail carrier wrote profanity on the outside of the envelope holding the card along with all kinds of crazy pen marks completely ruining the card. Not that the envelope is that big a deal but in my family we decorate the outsides of card envelopes for b days and Christmas, holidays etc so I just thought it qas extremely freaking rude. That is all. Thank You.

Employees that works to this postal location, is very unprofessional, they dont do anything to help customers at all and the supervisors are even worst! Nasty and stinks attitude, abuses their authority. My mails are constantly being lost or its not being delivered on time and then was told that "once the postman puts the mail inside the mailbox its no longer usps concerns" smh how professional is that?! When their the ones that force me into getting a curbside box in the first place because it was MANDATORY they said!! Hate hate hate this postal office location on how unprofessional they are and how they represent and promote the USPS.

Package went missing. CS told me to deal with it. Got two new package delivered different days with instruction to deliver package at doorstep and states insecure mailbox on label. Neither was delivered to my door. Lucky I was home and monitored my tracking. I am totally going to get screwed on my next package that I have already ordered. Another time had a package sent off and the guy threw my package into the bin. Seriously the entire team at this location needs to get fired. Job security at its worse.

Ive shipped from this post office a couple times now. There is a guy with a name tag Mr. B who is by far the most helpful person Ive ever been assisted by at a post office. Twice now hes showed me ways to ship for less cost which I otherwise would not have known to do. The last time my boyfriend needed to ship to Australia and was told by FedEx that it will cost over $100. He didnt ship his package for three weeks because of the cost. So I took him in to see Mr. B and it ended up costing only $13!

Called to ask about self service kiosks since the website is the generic USPS, and no one picked up the phone. I called three times. Nothing. Also, recently had mail in my mail box to be picked up, with the flag up, and it sat in the box for two days. Plus, I regularly receive someone elses mail from the street over from me. What gives?

Multiple problems multiple attitude one of the agents seems bipolar but fair, The fat and fabulous woman actually lost my express package. If you ask too many questions involving tracking information they will hang up on you. I actually have my p.o box in different zone because of their ineptness

They delivered my package to the wrong street. Thank god for notifications! After calling them the mail man returned to the house it was delivered to and delivered my sons bike tires he waited all week for. I really appreciate the effort they put into fixing the problem.
