My name is Rusty Swetz and I am the owner of Tuffy Tire & Auto in Lorain. I just want to express to everyone that utilizes Google reviews. As a business owner, I can not fix a situation unless the customer contacts me to let me know what their complaint or dissatisfaction is. I know customer feedback, whether on social media or a friendly conversation is at the core of a successful business. I would never allow a honest complaint go unaddressed. Please, before you complain online, contact ANY business you have an issue with. Not just with me, but with any business. Any legitimate issues should first be expressed to the offending business. If no satisfaction is received, then utilize any means to express your frustration. Also, if you know of anyone dishonestly using social media to discredit someone, please do what you can to stop it. Social media can be great, but not if its used for bad intentions.

I had an absolutely amazing experience with this Tuffy location. They were very honest and upfront about the work that needed to be done, the technician took me into the garage to my car on the lift and briefed me on exactly what was going to be done to my Civic, and what costs I would incur. The receptionist (Missy) was a dream, talk about customer service, she made me feel right at home, and even picked me up from work to come pick up my car. I did not expect the service I received, they definitely exceeded my expectations. I will be coming back here for sure, and referring whoever I can to them!

Paid over 1300.00 dollars for my car to get fixed for a sound . And what do you know the same sound is going on . I dont trust to bring it back because iam afraid they will want more money. Also I tried to use a coupon online and he said he already discounted 300 already. Which I know is a lie every company Jacks there prices up and brings price down to make you think you hot a deal. He was rude also . I will never take my car back to them and will tell anyone looking for mechanic to stay away from these crooks

Went in needing a new radiator because my car was leaking fluid....over $1000 later my car now has a check engine light on, leaking fluid from the other side of the car, and the air conditioner does not work (they supposedly replaced the Ac condenser as well) the car is making a loud noise whenever the air is on....long story short my car went in with ONE thing wrong and now has a ton of new things wrong with it the day after picking it up, not a coincidence

I do not take my cars to shops often, I work on my own cars. But the the first place I think of when I do is Tuffy in Lorain. I go there because of the acceptable prices, and simply because my whole family takes there cars there. My last reason of taking my car there was a wierd noise I could not figure out. They were quick to find the problem when I came in, and not too bad for the price for how hard it had to be to find the noise. thanks tuffy

Will and Jason worked on my 2010 Mazda replacing the rear btrake pads and rotors. The price was fair and the brakes are smooth as can be. I went back there to inquire about getting a tune-up and they offered very sound advice about when I should get one instead of being pushy to take my money when it wasnt worth it to do so at the time. Honesty breeds loyalty! I will be taking all my vehicles to this shop in the future. Nice job!

Went in just to have my car looked at, needed a tune up, i feel like he didnt even want to fix my car because of how i looked, told me he would test drive it to see whats wrong and had me wait in the lobby just to tell me 30 minutes later he didnt have the time to drive it and see what the problem was. They were noy busy and only had 1 person ahead of me. I didnt like my experience here.

I love these guys. Known and have been using them for years (25+). Recommend them to rest of family and friends but not enemies ... I trust there judgement in matters of all auto repair and find that Rusty (owner) prides himself on being one of the last honest mechanics and demands the same of his hirelings...REALLY GREAT PLACE TO DO BIZ WITH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whats better even when the Price Is Right?! The staff !! I can honestly say that the staff are beyond amazing with their customer service skills and their expertise when it comes to fixing cars. For some reason I never schedule appointments and they still manage to fit me in on a busy schedule. I highly recommend this place for all car services.

Jason and the guys at Lorain tuffy are great. I had my 99 Silverado towed there after business hours, and like magic they were calling me the next afternoon to pick up my vehicle. They were fast, efficient and the customer service was excellent. I recommend Tuffy for all auto services in the Lorain area. Thanks guys and keep up the good work!

My vehicle needed work, I supplied the parts, they gave me a ride home as they wrenched on it. Leaving my motorcycle there, @ pick-up time, (A DEFINANT RARITY) they followed me home & brought me back to their shop to retrieve my motorcycle. A bunch of Bikers, gotta luvit, no bullshit &/or "grey" areas.

Ive taken my current car to Tuffy for about 4 years now....love the service and reasonable prices. The mechanics are always friendly and up front about the work needed to be done. I usually go to the Lorain location, but have had awesome experiences at the Elyria location as well!

This was my second visit to the Tuffys. They are really friendly and they do a thorough job when inspecting your car and they will tell you everything about it. My overall experience with them is really good and I recommend them for any servicing that your car may need.

This was my first visit to the shop, and although I was just getting an oil change the service was remarkable. Overall, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They had no problems answering all of my questions. Thank you guys for doing a great job.

Id give 5 stars for repairing my car And if I could give a negative rating for the foul and disrespectful language that came out of the guy at the front desk mouth, I would. I wont go back, nor would I recommend a woman take her car there.
