If youre having car problems GO TO THIS PLACE! Clarke Automotive Systems very well may be the best automotive repair place you can take your car. Even outside of the auto repair industry its so rare that I get treated as well and with such integrity as the folks at Clarke auto have treated me. I own a 1990 Chevy Lumina and have taken it to Clarke Automotive for three issues. The first one was a vacuum hose, the second was a carbon build up in the throttle plate, and most recently my car was losing coolant due to a leaking metal hose. This is an updated review. I gave this place 5 stars before, and if I could give it another 5 stars I would. You see, the driver side window on my car will not roll up or down and I have to put in it to keep it up. After fixing the leaking coolant hose for a fair price, Clarke Auto took the initiative to try and fix it. Unfortunately they couldnt as the parts are no longer available, which is fine with me. However upon picking my car up, my side view mirror on the driver side was missing the knob to adjust it from the inside. It wouldnt stay in place when adjusted from the outside either. It was working as intended and the knob was there before this visit, so I called them up and they told me to bring it back so they can see what the deal is. Took it back, they had it fixed later in the day and told me its ready to be picked. The thing is I didnt have a ride there. When I told Bob that, Bob said hell see if Matt(one of their mechanics) would be able to pick me up while test driving one of the vehicles. Im not sure how common that is, but I have never in my life had a place go the extra mile for me like that. Matt, a very knowledgeable and very personable gentleman, picked me up and shortly after I was there to get my car. I wasnt charged for the fixing of the side view mirror, and when they tell you they appreciate your business its not some customary hollow statement you get from other businesses, its genuine. Clarke Automotive has built their business on treating the customary fairly, going the extra mile, doing the right thing and being honest. The level of quality of customer service you get from Clarke Automotive is simply unheard of these days. If you need to go to auto repair shop, take it to Clarke Automotive Systems, you wont be disappointed.

Honest, Fair, Efficient, Friendly and Informative Service. I can tell this is a business operated with integrity which is huge in this industry because of the dollar amounts that can be involved. Best service place in Brandon. I almost hesitate to share because they are my gem and I dont want them to become too busy to get me in! The owner is kind and helpful. I can tell he is the kind of business man and person that will do the right thing by people. I have been to Clarke Automotive three times. Once for a tire, once for an exhaust issue, and once for an oil change. I actually ended up there the first time becasue it was the closest location I could be towed to after blowing a tire on I-4. They gave me an excellent price on a tire purchase & installation in an emergency situation. A lot of places would take advantage of the fact that I was stuck there & had no other choice, but this business didnt. I went back the next time I had an issue - my exhaust. They took me and showed me the pipe taken out and where it had been damaged, what that was causing, and why it had to be replaced. They wont charge you to replace a part if it can be fixed. I went today for an oil change. Best rate in town and again friendly and efficient. Ill never go anywhere else as long as I live here. Having a mechanic you can trust when you dont know a great deal about cars, especially as a woman, is invaluable. Thank you, Clarkes Automotive!

I just received my car from Mr. Clarks business, and he had it for two days since my problem was very extensive. I have found that the way Mr. Clark does business is in of the highest standards. I found him to be a very fair, proficient person while getting the highest quality of work done. I have dealt with many different businesses, and they all have the same traits. They have no leadership and very customer service this is why so many businesses have the problems that they do have. I have a Masters Degree in Business Administration so I can say these things from experience. Yesterday when I was in his waiting room, a woman and her son came in and the first words that came out of her mouth is Mr. Clark any good. She said no matter what kind of service that is available to customers, they are not of the highest quality. I told her there is no one around that can even cast a shadow to him. I also told her that there is no amount of money that could make me go somewhere else. My biggest complaint with most businesss is that of extremely poor management, and very poor customer services. I have yet to find anyone who can even come close to the way Mr. Clark does his business, and I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for someone who provides excellent service such what he provides. Any new person who uses Mr. Clark will walk away with the highest regards for what he stands for and his values.

After 3 shops tried to fix the "clunking" sound in my 2007 GMC Envoy Denali front end and spending over $2,000 and it still not fixed I was getting frustrated and angry. I decided to Google "auto repair near me 33511" and Clark Automotive popped up with the most reviews (71 at the time). I started reading through them and felt that these people could really help me. So I called and a jovial voice on the other end picked up very politely and courteously answered the phone. It was Bob Clark. I made some funny comment on how polite he was and we joked around and immediately set a rapport. I went on to describe my problem and money I spent to try to fix it. Bob very humbly without giving me some BS said they could look at it and try to find the problem. The next morning I brought in the car the around 8:00 am. By 11:00 am I received a call from Bob who sounded very serious and said: "I hate to make these kind of calls, but the cost to repair your car is . . . (that infinitesimally long pause, like on HGTV House Hunters when there going to tell you which house they chose) Bob says its $97! I nearly fell out of my seat. To make a short story long, it is a rarity to find people in the automotive repair industry that are #1 competent and #2 have integrity. I highly recommend them for any and all your automotive repair needs. Bob.... you and your crew are GREAT! Gary

Extremely High Prices. My car overheated. I called Clarkes cuz it was close to where I broken down, and his reviews were good. He said theres no charge to look at the car. I was surprised to hear that...unusual for these days! Got the car towed over and it was as the tow truck is dropping the car that Bob Clarke tells me, "theres no charge to look at the car...unless we have to hook it up to a computer." What car these days dont you have to use a computer for diagnosis?! Fortunately for me the tow truck driver tipped me off that Clarkes is known for high prices. Next day he calls with diagnosis. Its $501 for a heater control valve for my 05 Prius. I called around...dealer was same price. I found Tampa Hybrids...price was $250...a little less than half! Btw...I had to pay $94.60 diagnosis fee to Clarkes. Turned out, when Tampa hybrids scanned it with the computer, there was another part out also...the coolant pump. Parts and labor for BOTH came to $420! If I had done the work at Clarkes it would have been $501...the problem still wouldnt have been fixed, and it would have been another $500 for the pump, another trip over there, and being w/o my car again! Its all good tho....now Ive found a really good mechanic thats fairly priced. Praise God.
