Dont even go here for an oil change! They caused $400 worth of damage to my engine by doing a simple oil change for me. I thought Firestone was at least competent enough to handle my oil changes, but I will be going to my HONEST mechanics, P&M Auto, for any oil changes in the future. The employees are rude, and try to upsell you on services you dont need. They also speak "mechanic" instead of explaining things to you in a way laymen can understand. Also, as a woman, they see you as a target if youre there alone. They will try to confuse and pressure you into buying more services- same stuff they warn women about at other auto shops. I actually saw on my last visit that they hired a man whom I worked with at a retail company in the past. This man would yell and curse at customers and co-workers alike, and was pretty... unstable. So thats the kind of person youll be dealing with at this store. If you decide to go to Firestone, good luck, and I hope you have the money saved to repair what they break when you go to a real mechanic.

I wish you could rate these incompetent individuals with a negative score. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES, YOUR PARENTS VEHICLES, OR YOUR WORST ENENMIES VEHICLES TO THIS DUMP! I took my care there because my traction and brake lights were on and received an inaccurate diagnosis (I should have known better) in MAY 2013 (while under an extended warranty). And twice after that. Come to find out my master cylinder was leaking brake fluid into my brake booster and these *$%^# performed a brake flush and keep filling my brake fluid to make my traction and brake light go off! Their DM Rich called me with his sarcastic, demeaning, and condescending retort to my complaint that my initial visit showed no mention of my traction lights and brake lights coming on. Ummm, am I supposed to write up my complaint at your store or is that the technicians job! Sooooo thanks to Firestone and their band aid solution, I am now out of warranty and in the whole $1300. Richs solution, Ill refund you for your brake flush. FIRESTONE you suck royally!

My car needed repair.Brakes, rotors, bearings. It was mid March 2015. I was visiting Sun City Centre and decided to give these guys a try. I found them to be an EXCELLENT place to deal with. They gave an accurate estimate. The work was done as scheduled. I found them professional, extremely competent and easy to deal with. Papy" did the work on my car. I am very satisfied as a customer. Clearly I had out of state plates on my car. They knew they had me over a barrel. Yet they treated me with respect and the final bill was cheaper than my regular mechanic. I do not hesitate to recommend this place for any mechanical remedies for your vehicle. Now... they could pay a little attention to cleanliness of the mens washroom as that area of the business did seem a little neglected for the past decade or so. But if you are looking for honest attention to your ailing vehicle, this is the place. See if you can get "Papy" to work on your car. An excellent mechanic with 45 years experience.

This place is a joke. They get their parts from Advance Auto, at wholesale prices, but charge up to 3 times the price, if you were to buy it yourself , you would come out alot cheaper. Plus you have the warranty on hand. They guys make you bring your vehicle back to them, and then they tell u no warranty. And to top it all off, the so call manager Chris, is rude he lies and he doesnt care about the customers, or employees where he gets his parts from. He caused an employee of Advanced Auto parts his job, and it wasnt even the poor guys fault. It was a guy name Shauns fault. But he didnt care, only because he wanted Shaun" his relative" to get the other guys position. To both of these companies the only thing important to them is making a huge profit. But CARMA will come back to get both of them. Wait and see.

GREAT ADVICE: According to Steve Pierce, customer service rep at this location, if you want your car done in a timely manner and you "dont" have an appointment you should "lie" and say you are waiting... even if you are not... they dont care....because if you dont you may end up like me... dropping off a car at 9:30 am for a "free" 4 wheel tire rotation (tires purchased at Firestone, by the way) , calling at 12:45 being told my car is next in line....coming back at 2:00 pm to pick up and the car STILL in the same parking spot...then being told by Steve with his sarcastic attitude to call my district manager if you have a problem and oh, let me spell my name for you.... thank you Steve Pierce for the wonderful advice and for spelling your name.

The service writer is rude! I took my car because of a noise this morning, I am pretty sure the spring came out of my caliper, 5 hour wait! I then asked if he could just pull it in an verify what the noise is? He said in 5 hours! Mind you I was there at 7am no cars in the bay and 2 techs in the shop! I am planning on buying new tires in a month and will NOT be going there! UPDATE went to Tires Choice and come to find out my lug nuts was loose on my front left tire! On top of the courtesy that showed me they also did not charge me! They took all my tires off and inspected my brakes! I will be going to Tires Choice to buy my tires and any other mechanical needs!

Just had a great experience at this Firestone. Where Im from Firestone has a bad wrap so I was cautious going in only to learn that the Apollo beach location was very honest and as quick as they could be with finding me a tire that needed to be shipped in today. They had me ready the next day by 10. I also was not changer for the tire alignment turns out the since my car was a rebuild title the previous owner didnt line up the frame as good as I was hoping but Firestone was honest about it and they could of pulled a fast one on me but they didnt and I highly appreciate that

Stay away from this one. I always go to Firestone for routine services. Made an appointment, showed up early. The advisor said it would be an hour. People walked in off the street a half hour after me and their car was being worked on while mine just sat in a bay with nobody near it. Heard complaints from two other customers on how long they were waiting for their cars. The worst part is that nobody seemed to care. I asked for my car back and received a condescending attitude. They didnt even try to make it right. Wont be going back here.

TPMS light came on 2015 Mazda3 during Saturday drive to Tampa. Found this nearby Firestone open in the afternoon. The parking lot was full, not one open spot. Went in and both folks were engaged with customers, plus people in waiting area. After Kyle finished with his phone call, he quickly came out and checked all the tire pressures and reset TPMS light. NO CHARGE and so friendly and polite! Highly recommend this place. You can tell by their attitudes and business volume they have no desire to mistreat nor rip you off.
