A Pretty Great Auto Shop. I have been to this shop a few times now and I thought it warranted a new review since I think I can tell what is going on here. John Ortiz and Ms. Vanessa are the ones who normally help me out when I come in. Both are excellent at customer service and it is a pleasure to work with them as they go out of their way to help you. I have gone in for tires, breaks and a few other inspections. The mechanics take the time to talk to me about what is going on with my car, and the biggest pro is that they dont talk to me like I am an idiot just because I am a woman. This is pretty big since I have gone to a few other places around the area and they have treated me horrible. I know a lot about cars since most of my friends are mechanics, so it is refreshing to find people who are willing to take a few minutes to talk to you like a human being. The few things I have noticed are rather minor. First, it does seem to take them longer to do things that should only take 30 minutes or an hour. For two tires I did end up waiting an hour and a half. I can tell why this is happening and the solution is rather simple. From what I could tell a few of the mechanics were just holding up the wall and chatting while I was there. By this I mean that I watch a young guy eat a granola bar and stack some tires and it took him about an hour...this task should have taken maybe 30 mins max. If the manager makes sure that work is getting done this would move car through faster for sure. The other reason they might have low reviews are the actual people doing the reviews. I also noticed during my visits that they pull in tons of really stupid college students who seem to want million dollar upgrades, cars to be magically fixed, and things that cant happen -to just happen, for super cheap. As far as I can tell these people put up with lots of crap from kids all day and they work hard to help people to the best of their ability. What I can say is they have treated me really nice and worked with me especially when I walked in with break problems with no appointment. A few fixes to run smoother, but they are doing pretty good in my book, and they arent ripping you off. Just my two cents, try them out but for sure make an appointment.

I am so disappointed in this place. Especially since we used to come here to get our tires and oil change. But on our last visit, which we came in to just to asked them to take a look at our tires because we were hearing vibration noise, after our drive to Orlando and back, that we would take to them to look at. (since we bought our tires there). Well you know how they always come up with these other items that needs to be fix. Well we knew from our previous visit that we needed to get our valve gaskets fix becuase we were smelling burnt oil. So since they were polite to fix our tire issued we decided to asked them to fix the valve cover gasket. A 500.00 project and that we can bring it over on Sunday next day in the morning and they will have it done by noon. Well that didnt happen. We got the truck on Monday late around 5ish after they we call to ask to see how much longer, we did not get a call until later. That is when they had the nerve to tell us that they lost a 5in screw which they cant not find some where in the engine and that they had to order another screw. But what came to be is that they broke our radiator and didnt have the right one to replace it. That is why we didnt get a call and had to wait another day to fix it. So they lie to us, and now we have an engine light on saying that some crameshaft / timing belt is a problem. Knowing that we just had the timing belt done by Kia in July. 700.00 fix. I would not bring any business and this issue is not done yet. I will be bringing this issue to court. They did more damage then good.

If it was possible to give no stars, I would. This location is one of the worst locations I have EVER had to deal with. I have been a loyal customer for 15+ years and this location tried to scam me thinking I knew nothing about my car. They tried overcharging me for tire maintenance- replaced bent rim, and a brand new(purchased a month ago from diff. tires plus location) tire. I was told it was going to be over $400. I called my car dealership and it was going to be $239. So after calling the tires plus I previously used before I moved, I asked why the tire wasnt going to be prorated like the other tires plus said, since my tire was brand new. They hung up the phone on me multiple times after finding out they were trying to make money off of me. They then put my spare tire on my car, WITHOUT my permission. I told them when I dropped my car off that I needed to save my rim because my spare was faulty and not safe. They ended up popping my spare and refused to replace it, when I told them not to use it in the first place. They have had my car since monday and have not updated me on when my car will be ready...its now wednesday.

I recently was experiencing problems with my vehicle- shaking, lurching when I used the brakes. I made an appointment and brought the vehicle to Tires Plus in the morning and they had it back to me by early evening, which was an awesome turnaround. The issue was that the calipers werent releasing so the rotors were warped. They replaced the rotors and calipers but on my drive home the brakes heated up and by the time I went to park the front brakes locked up. I called Tires Plus immediately and they were SUPER helpful. They paid for a tow truck to come out and get the vehicle to bring to their location and stayed past closing to get it in the shop. They identified the issue (the brake hoses needed to be replaced) and got them replaced the next day at no cost. The whole time they did an awesome job communicating with me and letting me know what was going on. Also, I very much appreciated their honesty and the fact that they did everything a shop *should* do when further issues arise after the initial fix. Thanks Tires Plus!

I need an oil change near our new place, and found this place on Google. The reviews leaned toward being decent, so I thought Id give it a try. Bad idea. Parts of my car which were fine before I went in are now broken, at a cost to me to repair. My total bill ended up being about twice of what it was I was quoted on the phone for the repair today. I was pushed to buy parts for my car that I had replaced two weeks ago, because of "Too much wear and tear." When I pointed out to the mechanic that I had had those parts replaced recently they acted as if it was a tiny oversight when I caught them in a blatant lie. I was then quoted nearly $1000 to replace parts that no other mechanic has mentioned to me previous. And did I mention I ONLY went in for an oil change?! The trip across town to Advantage Tire (our normal place) is worth the gas money and peace of mind for never dealing with these jokers again. Seriously.
