I had a very good experience taking my jeep to St Josephs. My air conditioning was really messed up and one day after work I just pulled in there to see about making an appointment to have them look at it. It was late in the day and Jo said if I wanted to leave it with them they would look at it that afternoon and work on it first thing in the morning. His wife gave me a ride home and an hour or so later Jo called me and then emailed a quote for the repair. The pricing is the only part that I cant attest to if the price was low, fair or high, but my gut feeling told me that, even though it was a lot of money to me, the price was accurate for the problem. I feel it was probably fair. I base this trust on that they seem to be honest people and their service was excellent!! And also based on the reviews I read here. Which is why I am making a point to write a review myself and pay it forward. As a woman shopping for an honest mechanic I feel I can point other women here in good faith. Their head mechanic (I assumed), Bill, came out and showed me my old part and explained everything to me. He really seems to know his profession! All together, a very good experience.

I am so happy that I found Jo and his shop! I had been going to a different shop, Hancock on Bloomingdale, but was quite unhappy with the service and the way they treated me (including gaslighting me - essentially telling me that I was hearing things, that there was no problem). Jo and Bill took the time to listen to me, to the car, and validated my suspicion that something was up. When they had the car up on the lift, they took me back and showed me that yes, indeed, there were some big issues going on and that the last tech who worked on my car (at Hancock) did a dang crappy job. They were able to fix the issues, and gave me options (a temp fix for less money, and a permanent fix for just a little more), and even gave me a loaner car. Bill and Jo explained things well, recognizing that while I may not be a gearhead, I am certainly not an idiot. Fabulous first time visit. Ill be back, for sure, and Ill spread the word! A good, honest mechanic is worth more than almost anything, and so far the crew at St. Josephs has blown me away.

I brought my Toyota to Joe with exhaust issues. I was unsure After being told by two friends it was just a gasket and then a shop in Lakeland wanted to charge me $500.00 to fix it by replacing the whole exhaust manifold assembly. After Bill looked at it and told me the exact same thing my friends told me (Gasket) and gave me a quote at the same price my friends said it should be. I left my car there same day to have it fixed. Bill at St. Josephs is amazing and I love the family friendly atmosphere. My car is running like a champ now and Ill continue to bring my vehicles in for any needed repairs. Thanks Joe please keep up the good and honest work and youll continue to prosper.

Ive been bringing our cars here for sometime now and highly recommend this auto shop. Jo and his team are very professional. Pricing is fair and customer service is great too. They explain the issue and show you what the repair entails. They have WiFi which is great if you need to work from there while you wait for the repair. One of our many experiences included the following: My husband was told his car needed a major repair by Tires Plus, when we brought it here, the issue that was wrong with the car was not at all what Tires Plus had indicated nor was the cost to fix it as high as what Tires Plus has quoted us. This was my second visit (Nov. 25, 2013) to Jos place. I had the timing belt, water pump, valve cover gaskets, and belts replaced on my 2001 Nissan Frontier. His prices are slightly below other shops (good thing) and the quality of work is spot on. I live in Tampa so the drive to drop off and then pickup is not fun, but I feel its work the effort to go to a shop that will give you an honest estimate for repair/preventive work and do the job right the first time. Jo even replaced a few worn parts at no extra charge. A co-worker (Richie A.) took his truck there as well the week prior and he is very satisfied as well.

I have going to St. Josephs Auto Repair, for many years, you get excellent service, the owner is a great honest man. His mechanic are very also are awesome at there job. I must say that it is hard to find a honest and when I say honest I mean it, I know that I am getting great service. I never have to worry about taking my car to Joe @ St Josephs, because I know he will look out for me. My car is a German car and everything is expensive to repair, but Joe never takes advantage of that. Great place to go if you need a mechanic. Really!

Joe has the best service of any shop I have ever been to. He is honest and fair and will beat about anyones price. I have had my Cadillac and Envoy worked on there and both have been completed timely and correctly. I have told all of my friends about this shop...If they do not become a Franchise and expand in the next couple of years I would be surprised...other shops and dealerships could take a lesson from this shop and not worry about how much you can get out of a guy and instead focus on how to keep a customer for life.

St. Josephs Automotive is an honest, dependable automotive repair shop. We all know this can be hard to find these days. I met Jo the owner in July of 2013. He was very friendly and professional. I’ve had a few repairs done on a couple of vehicles since July. His prices are very reasonable and his mechanics always did a great job in a timely fashion with state of the art equipment. I highly recommend St. Josephs Automotive to anyone looking for a good trustworthy auto repair shop!
