I love this salon! Everyone is professional and friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I am new to the area and was dreading finding someone new to cut my curly hair. When I called to schedule my first appointment, I specifically asked to be scheduled with someone who understood curls. (If you have curly hair you know how wrong it can go if someone doesnt understand curls!) I was scheduled with Kristian who did a phenomenal job! She asked me a lot of questions before we got started and went the extra mile to make sure my hair was exactly the way I wanted it. I will be back!

Phenomenal experience at Bixels! To say its a family oriented/ run business might lead you to believe it would be less posh but that couldnt be further from the truth! Its beautiful, very comfortable & to me seems very "Chicago" the sweet surprises are the people running & working there & the unchicago prices. I felt like part of the family the minute I walked in. Natalie gave a superb cut & even made suggestions (love when a stylist does that)! Bixels thank you for providing such a lovely experience for my daughter & me! We will be back!

I highly recommend this salon to all of my friends. Their hospitality, and overall general welcoming culture is second to none. The stylists are all very talented, Ive gone to several different one for my hair, nails and brows. And they always have wine, coffee, and tea ready to go for their clients!

I travel from Colorado Springs to get my hair cut at this salon. Try Jill out, shes really talented. As far as the nail polish review from below, I think if they called the salon they would have found out that they would have repainted her nails. They have excellent customer service.

I love getting my hair cut and colored at Bixels Salon. Having a great haircut is the most important part of your wardrobe. Employees are very friendly and make you fee at home. Really!! I wont go anywhere else.

WORST mani/pedi I have ever received. DO NOT GO HERE! Polish started chipping within hours. Too expensive for the crappy quality manicure I received. Wish I could get my money back.

Service is usually great, but they barely answer the phones when you call to make an appointment. Its a bit irritating having to call back or getting hung up on 8-10 times
