I normally dont shop at ULTA, but my mother does so I went into the Mentor, OH location to get her a gift card for Christmas. Upon walking in, I didnt see any associates on the floor, they were all at the registers. Which is fine, its the holidays I get it, plus I was only in there for a gift card. So I get in the semi-long line, and soon become aware that two lines are forming. That was when I first got frustrated because clearly you could see there were two lines and no one knew where to stand. Why didnt any of the workers acknowledge this and fix it? Anyway, I let the lady standing in the other line go in front of me and two cashiers opened up. The lady in front of me was grabbing some last minute items and wasnt paying attention so I went ahead and walked up to the cashier who had originally been calling the lady in front of me. I smiled at her and apologized and she said, "Sometimes you just have to jump ahead." She did not say this in a nice way or an attempting to be funny way and I just looked at her a little puzzled. I picked out a gift card and then asked her if I could use my rewards card and she looked at me like I was standing in front of her topless. So I say never mind. She then replies with, "the person who uses the gift card will get the points", making a face like Im an idiot. Im sorry, I thought maybe I could use my rewards even if I was just buying a gift card? But I move on, I pay and she stuffs the receipt in the bag and says, "have a nice day." No eye contact, no smile, nothing. So I snatch it out her hand and walk out. While walking out I see her roll her eyes. It took everything in me to not walk back and confront her about her bad attitude. Not only did she fail to greet me upon walking up to the register, but she was very rude and not pleasant to deal with at all. This is why I will not be returning to ULTA. The cashiers name is Candace.

I went to get my hair colored at the salon, and I told the hairstylist that I wanted my hair to be caramel. When she finished, it was dark brown, was not caramel at all, and she didnt dry my hair completely. The brown is coming out of my hair after two washes. I think the hair dye must be expired. Ill never go back.

People are being so harsh. This is a great store; the workers are extremely friendly and helpful. They carry a ton of great products. The only thing is that they are sometimes out of what you are looking for which can be kind of annoying, especially when you only venture out there once every few months.

I love Ultra Beauty Laura Geller is my go to makeup but the ultra brand is awesome they have some great sales but they have a lousy clearance aisle great Christmas ideas little expensive but I keep going back over and over again and theyre very helpful and finding what you need and what will work for you

I ordered eyeshadow online. The eyeshadow delivered was so broken, the crushed powder ended up all over the other products I purchased! What a mess! Someone HAD to know the eyeshadow was terribly damaged and completely worthless! Thats my last online order from Ulta.

This Ulta location is clean. However, customer service isnt so great. I was walking around looking for some foundation, and no one offered to help. I ended up just grabbing something and it did not work. I had to return it later.
