The first time I used your, Bohannon Roofing. service was for a leak in our house. This leak was found on a rainy, May day approximately 8-10 years ago. My in-laws were in town to attend my daughters dance recital. Since the roof on the house was the original and only 6-7 years old, I didnt really know who to call for help. You got the call and came out for a look. You thought the potential problem was an area above the two front windows on the second floor. You also pointed out another potential problem area over the garage. The next dry day, you repaired and improved the roofing above the windows and placed a diverter on the garage roof. Never another problem with these repairs. I later spoke with you about gutters and downspouts on the north end of the house. Issues with leaves and downspouts caused water to overflow the gutters. You recommended replacing the downspouts with a larger sized one and placing covers over the gutters to eliminate the buildup of leaves. Both have worked well. As the house aged I asked you to look at my roof to assess the condition as I was beginning to notice aging. There were some edges beginning to roll and the gaps between shingles seemed to be widening. After iinspection, you told me I had a couple of years possibly remaining and discussed the pros/cons associated with the different styles of valleys in roofing. My original valleys were the formed metal ones with shingles cut 2-3 inches away from the center rib. The metal was beginng to rust and detracted from the appearance of the house. The next summer (2007)I asked for a price quote to tear off and replace all of the roofing on the house. I chose you to do the project because of past positive past experiences, warranty and the fact you provided documentation of workers compensation benefits being paid on your employees. I chose to go with the architectural grade of shingle and the woven in style of valley treatment. (California style?) I seem to remember there being 40 plus squares of shingles. I was placed on your schedule. Your crew showed up when you said they would and went straight to work. In less than 2 1/2 days, the project was complete. The area around the house was left amazingly clean. The guys did a great job picking up all of the debris from the tear off and the cut pieces of the new shingles. In September of 2008, the area experienced the remnants of Hurricane Ike. The region was without power, trees were down and many roofs damaged. I was home when you stopped by to assess the roof for damage. You did this on your own. There was no damage at all. Not a single shingle was wind damaged. The roof was 100% intact. I was proud that there was no damage, but even more impressed with you taking the initiative to come by after the storm to inspect for damage. This type of action speaks highly of a man willing to stand behind the company with his name on it.

Steve and his crew were EXCELLENT. Ive had various contractors do work on my house over the years and more times than not the work is either not done within the agreed upon scope, done poorly, or even not done at all. Its hard to find a contractor you can trust these days and Bohannon Roofing falls into that small category. The work was done on time and on cost. The result was exactly what I wanted. I had several quotes done when doing my research and they were right in line with less reputable companies (based on reviews of other companies Ive researched online), and WELL below some of the big names in the tristate area. I dont normally write reviews, but being that Ive been burned plenty of times from contractors, I want to pay it forward to Steve and his crew for doing good, honest work. Thanks again!!!

We have always had a great experience with Bohannon Roofing over the years. The service has always been prompt and professional. After Hurricane Ike in 2008, we had the opportunity to work with Bohannon Roofing to install a new roof on our home. Steve Bohannon took the time to go over various options for a new roof with us. The job was completed in a timely manner and the staff was courteous and professional. My wife and I have relied on Steve Bohannon and the great folks at Bohannon Roofing to inspect and service our homes roof for years. When it came time to replace our roof, we received a very good quote from Bohannon Roofing and chose them to do the work. Bohannons crew showed up on schedule and completed the work in just a few days. They were courteous and professional and did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. A year ago I was looking at buying a house with a bad roof. Out of the four quotes I received, Steve Bohannons was the most professional and the price was the most reasonable. However, I ended up buying a different house in town. I found out that Bohannon Roofing had installed a roof ten years prior to when I purchased the house. I called Bohannon Roofing out to look at a small problem I had, and Steve said he would fix it free of charge. I can tell he cares about his work and his customers.

We had a large tree fall on house doing significant damage to the roof. Called Steve and he showed up before the tree had been removed. He said he was booked through Oct. but he would fit us into the schedule as jobs permitted. Steve and his workers were efficient, courteous, and did an excellent job replacing the roof. I would definitely recommend Bohannon Roofing to anyone needing roof work.

I called this place twice and they never came out. The first time I called they returned it, took down my address, and then never showed up and I wasted a day off from work. When I called a second time they never returned it. I dont know if this place is going out of business or what, but I will never buy from them and I suggest you dont as well.
