Lets start with when i pulled up to the shop, I could hear the manager swearing at his employees so loud that it was echoing off the cement retaining wall across the parking lot where the bays are. I brought in my vehicle because the AC wasnt working, I just bought it, it wasnt working when i bought it. I knew the compressor was bad, I called and told them I knew it was and I wanted them to pressure test the rest of the system to see if there were any other leak points besides the compressor. they charged me $60 to run dye in it and told me the only place they found was the compressor. they wanted $800 to replace it. for the record its right on top it has 4 bolts and you can buy a new one at the auto parts store for $150. needless to say I took it home and replaced the compressor myself in about 20mins, I then tried to pull a vaccum on the system. it wouldnt pull one, i had another leak, next i pressurize the system to find the leak. I found an entire line had been cut and removed, it too was in the top of the engine and shouldve been seen during their test. it was very obvious to me that they hadnt done the inspection that they had charged me for. I contacted Andy Fiffick (president and CEO) who was happy to tell me in great detail about what they do during the inspection, then i told him what I found, sent him a picture of the cut line and I havent heard anything. he has yet to contact me about this, I told him i simply wanted a refund and an apology. I understand that mistakes happed especially in the car repair industry, but its what you do after the mistake that make the difference and this company has failed in my opinion.

WARNING!!! Very Courteous staff. Pleasant. Technicians are NOT alert enough!! Was here for "Tire Rotation." Incomplete Work done could have been "Catastrophic" I had to have followup EM work completed at dealership a day later!! "The life of my family and the life of others was put in danger" because of negligence of Techs at this business!!! Here, Techs took a very long time to finish work. When I inquired, Tech came back 10 min later to take me in shop area. Another vehicle exactly like mine on a lift next to mine. All my tires were off, 1 wheel area had parts disassembled, hanging. Tech said it will be needing a part in near future. I took a picture. Said OK. I told him I will have dealer shop look into it. Tech said my vehicle needed a balance. I agreed to have the work done. After 12-14 minutes vehicle was ready. I took a smooth road home 5-8 minutes away. It was devastating to learn at the EM appt with the dealer shop that all the lugs twisted off by hand on one tire, 2 tight on 1 tire, 1 tight on 2 other. I reported back to RadAir and the same young Tech smiled and said he would look into it, and make sure it doesnt happen again. That was it. No other follow up from anyone to address this at the Solon, Ohio location. Ann F.

These guys really take care of you. I brought my car in for a misfiring engine and they diagnosed it and fixed it quickly. But what I love most about them is that they have loaner cars right there on their property that you can borrow while your car is getting fixed - it takes so much hassle out of getting your car fixed! I dont have to beg people for rides or rent a car or take off of work - they even let me drop off my car and pick up the loaner car after hours (within reason, of course). The staff is courteous and hard working, great people who work hard and honest. I know a thing or two about cars, and Ive never felt that they were trying to dump repairs onto me that werent necessary - they took the time to explain what they wanted to do and why. And they never do anything without getting the customers approval first - "we never spend your money without talking to you first". Its the way that car repair should be!

My son recently moved to Solon, Ohio for a new job, and we were referred to Rad Air. His car is an older model, a 2004. Needless to say in the last several months he has had to take the car to Rad Air for one thing or another. I cant express enough gratitude for all of their help. On two occasions the car needed to stay in the garage, and they had loaner car there for him to use while his was being fixed. They are also a AAA approved facility. . Thank you for everything. Its comforting to know that when moving to a new place, there are businesses like this in time of need. Rad Air Complete Car Care, at 6221 Som Center Road in Solon, Ohio is one "class act", and I cant recommend them enough! Thank you!

I had the AC inspection performed and major AC work done on my car there. The description of items shown on the receipt were different from what I was told on the phone after the inspection. The cost that he told me on the phone was expensive than the place where I had a first quote previously, but he told me that the cost included an additional item to be replaced. But, the item was not included on the receipt. He allowed me to use an old car thankfully. But, because it had a problem with a fuel gauge (the fuel gauge did not move at the point when it was filled), I accidentally filled the gas too much. I asked some consideration of this, but he said that it is not his responsibility.

I was a loyal customer with another local car repair company for at least 10 years. (They did some front end work on my car a few months earlier.) No problems with my car until a thumping noise under the front, left side worsened over a few days. I decided to go to Rad Air on the advice of a good friend. Rad Air inspected my car and identified the problem quickly: 4 of the 5 lug nuts had not been properly tightened and the wheel was about to fall off! (This was not the first time that something like this happened as a result of taking my car to the previous car repair shop.) And, they did not charge for their trouble! I am now a Rad Air customer - end of story.

We have a Toyota van and there was oil leaking somewhere from the engine so we took it to our Toyota dealer. The mechanic told us it would be about a $2400 fix!!! Thought wed get a second opinion and took it to Rad Air in Solon, OH. We had never been to them, but their reviews were great and some friends recommended them. We are so glad we did! They fixed the problem for $650! The leak is gone and the car is running great. We would highly recommend them and they will be the place we go for car repairs from now on.

I LOVE my 2012 Jeep Sahara Wrangler and do not trust just anyone with my truck. But I trust Rad Air, Solon and that great guy Jerry! Very few people have the privilege of working on this vehicle. I was a Truck Driver in the United States Marine Corps and when it comes to my Jeep, theres no room for error. Thank you Rad Air Solon, for the outstanding tech and customer service support. Judy
