Tim at Willoughby Hills Auto repair is a very nice man. That being said: I took in my 2005 VW Golf TDI for service. He told me that they service VWs all the time. I took that to mean that they had experience with the type of car I own. As I read the quote I noticed that they were going to put the WRONG oil in the engine. I brought this up with Tim, who said their parts manager had been out that afternoon, yet still that made me uneasy. All in all it turned out that I had to replace my Oil Pan. They charged me around $400, and put in not the highest quality pan. When I asked if they could put in an aluminum and steel pan, to which he said none existed. However the good people over at Cattle Creek VDubs in Colorado, recommended that very thing. I am sure that Everyone at Willoughby HIlls Auto Repair has good intentions. I am sure they are very knowledgable of most cars. However THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO TAKE YOUR EUROPEAN (certainly not diesel) vehicle. I wish them the best, and suggest they be more clear about their expertise.

As a first time customer, I read reviews, stopped in other places to get an estimate and it wasnt hard for me to choose Willoughby Hills Auto Repair. Being that they are family owned and been in the same location for over 20 years, I knew they had to be doing something right. Their estimate process involved going over my whole vehicle, adding pictures to show damages/repairs needed and explaining the extent of the worn parts. They never tried to oversell me on unnecessary repairs, never made me feel pressured and I felt very confident in letting them take care of my vehicle. After picking my vehicle up from having brakes (calipers, rotors and pads), upper and lower ball joints, wheel alignment and more work performed, my vehicle drives better than it ever has. I have just acquired a new service shop for my vehicle and I dont have any concerns on the extent of the repair, I know they can handle it! Thanks again, Rob and Ebon!

I actually went to WH Auto Repair based on the google reviews and was very happy. I was specifically seeking a reputable place near my work that had shuttle service when/if I needed it. They gave me a ride to work even though I was likely out of the normal shuttle range and explained everything wrong with my car in a very professional manner. When I opted to take care of a part by myself (to save a little $$), they even gave me advice on how I should tackle the job. My only suggestion would be to give a little bit more notice (time estimate) on when the car would be done. I originally mentioned Id be there at 5pm but ending up waiting until around 5:40 - though it was likely a busy day seeing as how it was the day after Thanksgiving and I didnt mind waiting. I will definitely be back and will to try to take advantage of their loaner car and the great customer service!

Ive been bringing both of my family vehicles to Wiloughby Hills Auto since I originally moved to the area in 2009. Even since weve moved out towards Mentor, I still bring my vehicle back here for their fantastic service. The free loaner vehicle is a life-saver to me, and there are no-strings attached. The estimates given to me are always clear and detailed, and Ive always been charged the exact amount Ive been quoted. Theyre speedy and Ive never had to wait long for repairs / parts. Theyre also good at finding the root cause of a problem and fixing it properly. I cant speak for their price comparisons compared to other shops, but I can say that if I am spending more, its money well-spent and the lifetime guarantees they make for their repairs puts me at ease. Im happy to spend my money here supporting a local business.

W.H A.R is always there when you need them.. They can solve all your car problems. They know their stuff..Ive never heard of a repair shop who will even take you home and pick you up..I feel very confident in their work. I never worry after theyve worked on my car. I know I can trust them. They never pressure you into any repairs, only advise you and explain any other problems you may be having and back in up on paper.They really do a thorough job..They work around your schedule as well,to make it as hassle free as possible. Willoughby Hills Auto Repair has been keeping me and my family safe for about 5 years. After the first time I used them for service, I immediately saved their information in my phone, because I knew I had found a shop I could trust. I found them by mistake, actually, but I havent taken my cars anywhere else since that day, because theyre friendly, thorough, and they stand behind their work for as long as you own the car. In fact, just this morning as I arrived to drop my car, a heavy rain started. I was just grabbing my umbrella to walk toward the building, but one of the guys came out to my car with a large umbrella to walk me to the building to stay dry! The service is outstanding, and I cant imagine putting my car in another shops hands!

The people here are wonderful, they provide top notch customer service. Their 51-point inspection is no joke, its extremely extensive and they even provide pictures to go along with their analysis of your vehicles health. I was highly dissatisfied with my other auto service place, so I found these guys online and I was certainly not disappointed. I felt confident in delivering my business here and they affirmed my good faith. I had over $1,300 worth of service done on my vehicle and they completed both the inspection and repairs in less than a day. Phenomenal! Then, to top it off, I got a call today from Rob making sure my car was running well and to thank me for my business. Well done, WHAR, well done.

A friend suggested I try out Willoughby Hills Auto Repair when I was in need of an alignment. I was quite impressed with the professional and friendly nature of everyone I spoke with. Furthermore, the alignment report that was included showing which wheels were out of spec and by how much was much appreciated. While waiting for my alignment to be performed, I was even more impressed to watch that pretty much everyone that walked in the door was greeted by their first name. This business really takes their customer relationships seriously. I will definitely be returning here again the next time I need work done, and I have already started recommending them to my friends and family.

I have been going to Willoughby Hills Auto Repair for a few years with a few different vehicles over that time. They have always done what they said they were going to do and in the timeframe they say they are going to do it. That is very important to me as I work and have other obligations. I really appreciate the loaner car as it gets me to work and even when they dont have one available they find a way to get me where I need to be on time. I even brought in a car I planned to buy to have it inspected and got a clean bill of health and it has been a great car since. Thanks guys (and gal) for the great job.
