Hi my name is Ebony Colvin and Im writing this review because I received excellent customer service at Midas located on Mayfield Rd near Giant Eagle Grocery store and GoldenGate shopping plaza. On 7-24-2015 I had to go in and get my front and Rear Brakes repaired. Honestly I thought I would only need my front brakes repaired. I looked up a coupon online for 50% off Brake Service per axle which gave me $50.00 off my front and back brakes. That was without getting rotors which I was given a quote for $60.00 per rotor. The gentleman that greet me was very nice. After sitting for 10mins they let me observe what needed to be fix. I was in complete shock when I discovered that my back brakes were horrible and my front brakes were done for. The service team were very concern for my safety. They explain to me the several options that I had but also explain to me that my brakes needed to be repaired all the way around. I was quoted $587.00 for my front and rear brakes that included rotors. I express to them I could not afford that and they were willing to charge me $503.00. They EXCLUDED the labor!!!!! Talk about your customer service. Overall I saved $187.00!!!! This was with the coupon and the additional $87.00 the gentleman knocked off because one of the service techs was kind enough to not charge me for labor. My appointment was at 9:30am and my appointment was completed by 12:00pm due to the wrong part being delivered.While waiting for my car I was offered coffee and the gentleman turned down the central air because he notice I was cold. They made the wait extremely comfortable.They road tested my car to make sure my brakes were working properly. The service tech noted a rattling noise when test driving my car. Checked my car and noted it was a shield piece that some how came a loose and he removed the piece free of charge. I am very please with Midas. They are awesome. I thanked them over and over for being so kind and helping me keep my cost down. I would reccommend anyone there. You cant beat the customer service they provide. They are honest and willing to work with you. I turned down Mr. Tire (who I normally go to for service) and Im glad I did!!!!!!!

Im usually a skeptic when it comes to automotive repairs and finding an "honest" mechanic. But after having my truck serviced at the Mayfield Hts Midas I can say Ive finally found an auto shop I feel good about. As soon as my truck was raised I watched all of the guys gather around to check out the problem and figure out possible solutions. The fact that I was allowed to stand at a safe distance and watch the entire procedure from start to finish earned these guys extra points as well. The entire team was very friendly, very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Everyone from management to skilled laborer made me feel welcome and that goes far in my book. It was especially rewarding to me to watch as the service techs cut, bent, and welded exhaust piping to fit precisely. I could clearly see the pride taken in their work by the techs making the repairs and that made me feel good. I will continue to do business with these fellas and will refer my friends and acquaintances to this location as well. Tony and his team are a great bunch of guys! Job well done!! Thanks Oh and by the way after reading some of the google reviews Im happy to see that you guys actually reach out to customers that have not had a very positive experience to see if theres something that can be done to help them out. Nice touch☺

My daughter brought her car in for an oil change. When she got home and shut the car off, oil started leaking everywhere. We called Midas and they sent a tech out to where she works to take a look at it. They told her that everything was fine and that she had several major oil leaks. This vehicle never dripped a drop until she brought it to Midas. I noticed that it didnt leak when I started it but when I shut it off, oil started pouring out through the dipstick. The thing that makes me mad is the fact that they sent a tech out to look at it and not only did he NOT top off the oil, he failed to notice that whoever did the oil change ran the blow by tube through the air cleaner housing and crimped it off. We ended up paying double for the oil change because we had to add 4 quarts of oil to it after I fixed the problem myself. As you can imagine, Im quite upset as this simple process end up costing us more time and money then it was worth. I certainly would not recommend that anyone take a vehicle here for service and I am contacting the better business bureau.

DO NOT "Trust this Midas touch" Heres why... Came to Midas on December 7th for new tires. After they checked out my car before they even installed my tires they called to say I "NEEDED" *Front & Rear Pads $624 "going to start grinding soon" (was told by Chevrolet dealer 40% left on Front and 60% on rear. about a week b/f) *Motor mounts $461 (not for that price) *Tie Rod $144 which I did have them replace but when asked if I was able to see old part they "couldnt find it" Here is the kicker I did NOT get the Warranty on tires however I must have a slow leak in one of my tires. Well they want to CHARGE me to re seal the tire & to rotate all because Im 6 days (less than 1 week) over the normal 90 day Warranty. Nice JOB Midas & crew. Real poor customer service. Do yourself a favor before you get anything done have a second opinion Never know what "you need fixed now and what REALLY can wait" ;)

I gave midas a call. Customer service was very knowledgeable and friendly. I advised them that i needed a blower motor replaced. This was a Saturday morning. they said we could come in at any time. We arrived at 10am when we got there within 2 minutes they took our keys and pulled the car in they said they would call within the hour with a diagnostic and price and sure enough they did. service and repair was excellent. It was ready by 1pm they had taken pictures of what caused the problem so that i could see for myself.and I couldnt have been happier. Thank you Tom!!!

These guys are amazing! They go above and beyond everytime we are there. I often wait for the work on my car to be done with my 2 kids (under 5) and they are beyond accommodating. They encourage my kids, encourage me, turn on cartoons, help me load up my car, let us take over their waiting room, and so much more. Cannot say enough about how supportive they are or about how extremely helpful they are for our family. And they take great care of our cars too! We are so thankful to work with a repair shop that is so understanding and great for families!

Tony you are THE BEST! Parts of my exhaust system were rusting out and every place I took it said theyd have to replace the entire system, but mechanic friends said that wasnt necesssary since the muffler and catalytic converter were still fine. No one was willing to do the work - but Tony took a look at it, honed in on the main problem and less than an hour later my system was fixed at a savings of $800! Professional, honest, outstanding. Highly recommend! Thanks again, Tony!
