I owned a brand new Saab. The first brand new car I ever owned. A nice deep black on black with leather interior and all the options. Unfortunately somebody ran into my car in a shopping mall parking lot. That wasnt the problem. I was told by my local "Saab specialist" that Mayfield Collision specializes in Saab repairs. So I took it to Mayfield. I was told it would take about 1 week. Got a rental and went about my daily life. A week later I received a call that my car was ready. Couldnt wait to get my baby back. As I drove into the parking lot, I saw my car parked in a customer lot. I went in, got my paperwork done and was escorted to my car by a young mechanic (yes, his age does matter in this case). We wanted to look over the car before I drove it away. As I approached the driver side door where the original damage occurred, I saw what looked like somebody had spray painted my car with a gray paint and tried to buff it off using a kitchen cloth. I sat there stunned. I asked the mechanic to explain. He said that was the best they could do. WTF does that mean??? I immediately asked to speak to a manager. The manager came out to the parking lot. After a pointless argument trying to keep my cool and not yelling, he finally admitted to me that "the young mechanic" who escorted me to my car was the technician who worked on my car. He also admitted that this technician had "just started" about a month ago and my car was the first repair he was commissioned to do without supervision. Could you PLEASE explain to me why he thought it was OK to have a 20-year old kid who had NEVER repaired a car be allowed to EXPERIMENT his knowledge on my BRAND NEW car???? Please explain this idiotic decision making. I am not going to get into what happened next. Lets just say that my car has been fixed (by another auto body shop) and I will NEVER recommend this place.

First Ill start off with; I generally have no faith in ANY mechanic or body shop to ever honest, fair, etc. (just from past experiences).... But I was SO very pleasantly surprised with my experience here... I was recommended by my dealership to contact Mayfield Collision Centers, since they routinely send customers here... I needed an estimate for some paint damage from a parking garage (mineral deposit stain that would not come off). I showed up at the shop mid-day, without an appointment, and within about 5 minutes was with a friendly associate who walked back to my car to take a look with me... Asked to hang onto the keys for a moment to get some info about the car, and get some photos of the damage.... within about 10 minutes, she came back into the office "youre all set, cmon back"... They took care of my issue on the spot... I was expecting the usual "leave it with us, itll cost a fortune" and nothing of the sort happened. They were kind, professional, courteous, and very reasonable about getting my taken care of. I hope I never have to come back (because that would mean my car is damaged), BUT if I ever had to, Id come back here no questions asked, as well as refer my friends and family. In short, excellent experience! Highly recommended!

They were very kind and understanding. They communicate very well; it does not feel like youre being taken advantage of. My car was flawless when I got it back, actually better condition than before my accident. My insurance company messed up my claim and didnt include some of the damage in their report to Mayfield Collision and when I told Mayfield Collision about it they took the car back right away and even covered the price of my rental until I got the car back even though it wasnt their fault at all. They even got it back to me within a day or two. I also liked that they now have a nationwide service in their buildings so its easy to return the car. I also liked that they had several women working there - in the garage as well. It made me feel more comfortable and they all knew really well what was going on with my car and tracked it during the repair and could answer all of my questions in detail.

Yes, they will professionally fix your car. However, what stands out the most to me is their high level of customer service! I have never experienced such professionalism from an auto body shop in my life. Jenna is fantastic! She was friendly, informative, and very courteous. To top it off, there is a car rental place on site - a true one stop shop! What more could you ask for? By the way, when you turn in your car, they give you a business card with a pin number on it. You use that pin number to log into a website to view daily updates and periodic photos detailing the progress of your car. No more wondering about what stage of the repair process your car is in. God forbid my car ever get hit or damaged again, I will certainly be a repeat customer. I highly recommend anybody needing auto body work to patronize this place. Five stars indeed.

I left my older vehicle with Mike Walker at Mayfield Collision for 5 days while I was out of town. There were a couple of nagging imperfections on the hood and rear fender that I had always wanted to get repaired but hadnt had the time. I was surprised to find out I could watch the progress of my repairs from 2,000 miles away over the Internet. A picture is taken after each phase of the repair and posted on a site where I could see it. When I picked up the SUV I found the color match and finish were very good. The paint work is nearly undetectable. And, the interior had been cleaned. I appreciate Mayfields progressive and transparent approach to the body shop business.

Had my 2002 Pontiac VIbe repaired there, mid-Jan 2011. After fender bender. Professional, courteous, dealt well with me and my insurance co. Workmanship and paint match quite good, and also took time to repair another ding while they had the bumper off with the main repair, appreciated by me. Of course I hope we dont need to do business again, but would be my first choice if needed.

They were very easy to work with. They went above and beyond on my car, replacing a brake light that had nothing to do with insurance claim submitted. Very friendly staff, made sure my rental car was taken care of too. Would highly recommend to anyone needing body work on their car.
