I was hit from behind and there was minimal damage to my bumper. The money we got from insurance was enough to just have the whole car painted. When the car was finished and we picked it up, we noticed that the back looked rough and had a matte finish, it wasnt shiny like the rest of the car. The man that helped us said we should wash it and wax it in a few days to get the full results of the new paint job. After washing and waxing the entire car, we noticed that when we ran our fingers along the car our fingers became black from some substance that was on the car. We took the car back while it was still under warranty and the owner of the shop was nothing but rude and disrespectful. He told us that it had nothing to do with the paint job they had done, and that it had to be something that we got on the entire car. He even went as far as saying that we got jet fuel on the car. He sent us on our way saying that there was nothing he could do about it and wed have to fix the problem ourselves. After having the car looked at by several other professionals, they have all said that it is definitely something that they did while painting the car. Most say that it looks as though they didnt put a clear coat on and that the paint is just coming off the car. I would not recommend anyone take their car here. The people were awful, and the job they did was even worse.

I wish I had taken photos of my car before the work had been done, but picture this, if you will: The hood of my car had started to peel a few years ago, and by this year it barely had any color to it. Just patches of dark gray. The rest of the car was in decent shape, doors like new and top of the car had typical sunburn over the years. I was skeptical with the 1-star review, but it was only one review, and Maaco is a chain, with other locations having nice reviews. This location was close to my house, so I gave it a shot. Jose was very kind and accommodating. He explained the packs options and why their pricing was almost 1/3 of what you would pay at the mom n pop body shops along Forsyth. I choose the $799 package with 5-year warranty. They even called me 1/2 way through the 5-day job and asked if I wanted to have 3 small dents fixed in my hood for $60 more. Of course! When I picked up my car today, it was almost like the first day I saw my car in May of 2005. Literally got a bit emotional because of the anxiety I had with driving my ghetto looking hood around for so long. Not anymore. Im extremely pleased and would highly recommend this place to any of my family or friends. :-)

I took my car to the Old Cheney Highway location since I was getting ready to turn in my lease and there was a 8" scratch on my bumper (no dent; only a scratch). I explained to the gentlemen that I wanted a simple fix and knew I was in trouble when he saw the model of my car (Mercedes) and went straight to his computer for an estimate! He stated that "bumper would need to come off" and handed me a quote of $609.00! I got in my car and was so upset that this company would waste there time to even print out some bull crap! As I drove down Old Cheney Highway (and there there were many other auto body places), I came across a nice, honest gentlemen. He had very little overhead and appeared to work the office and body shop by himself. He stopped what he was doing and I explained what I wanted. He agreed to fix the scratch right then and there! He painted over the scratch with a brush and also applied a coat of clear that he said would dry in moments. It looks GREAT and guess how much? Twenty Dollars!!!!! I took this gentlemens card and will NEVER AGAIN be ripped off by these computer program/inflated insurance priced rip offs that take full advantage of people!

My wife had an accident that was not covered by insurance. She first went to another body shop recommended by our personal mechanic. That body shop wanted to repair the parts instead of replacing them stating that it would be cheaper than getting new parts. We told them that we would be okay with used parts from the junk yard, he insisted that it would be cheaper to fix the damage and then gave her an estimate. The price was beyond what we could afford. Then we went to this Maaco location on Old Cheney hwy. Not only did they replace the parts, (hood, fender, bumper) but they also repainted the entire car along with repairing miscellaneous dings, dents and scratches. The car came out looking superb. We chose the second to best paint job that comes with a five year warranty. All that work and it was still cheaper than the first guys.. The car is ten years old so throwing away thousands on body work is not worth it. This Maaco did a great job for the money.

I got in a wreck a few months back and messed my hood up really bad, and I took my car in for a quote, and I was there only 10 minutes. I made an appointment and took it in, and they handled me right away. My ride home had an emergency so one of the guys there gave me a ride(I never even asked, he just offered). I got my car back the very next morning, and it looked brand new again (in my opinion) and they honored their quoted price. Overall, they were super professional and did an amazing job on my car, and Id definitely go back. All the other places around here wanted to charge me $1400 for my hood, maaco charged me $350 and made it look brand new. They were honest and efficient. Im very happy with their service! Nelson, you rock!

Horrible experience with this body shop, paid top dollars and my car looks like they did $100.00 job.I will never refer anyone or go back to them. Costumer service also terrible, they told me that they are not an high end body shop. But they sold a perfect paint job when we went to get a quote. Manager present when i told them that my car had paint runs and specks of debris, they offer me to go and get the car sanded to fixed,as i know if you sand a car u need to paint again and that was not offer to me. The management didnt do anything except to take full payment of $1331.74,not even a discount. My Z4 looks terrible. .

Had a fender bender the other day which popped my front hood. The secondary latch still held but the main latch wouldnt catch so the hood stayed ajar. So I took my car in for a free estimate after reading good things about Maaco online. The staff was very helpful and friendly, even managing a quick fix to get my hood closed properly! I still wanted to shop around a bit for comparisons, but I drove away with a reasonable estimate and my hood safely and properly closed. Thanks guys!
