Took my 2003 Yukon XL Denali SUV for a full body paint. Just slightly sun faded in some areas, no body damage. Minor rust on the roof. Couldnt negotiate the price down because according to them, its a big truck and thats the price if I want it done right. Took the bait! Yes I wanted it done right! 3 weeks later, they are still working on it. I guess its being done right! Right? I passed by, every day to see my truck just sits there, it has moved in and out of the shop but it didnt look like much has been done. Finally, I got a call, its done. On my way to pay the balance. When I picked it up, the emblems looked like they were in stalled by a 3 year old. Its all crooked and you can tell its not right. I complained, they told me to buy the emblems myself and theyll install it.? WTF? Needless to say, Its my truck, so I bought it and installed it myself just like the factory would. Now, Im no expert but I hate to tell people how to do their jobs because I thought I paid for it to be done professionally by a professional. When I picked it up, it was cleaned but had some dirt in some areas. Couldnt see all the imperfections but somewhat acceptable. I finally got it full detailed in a week or so then noticed some light paint work, the underside panels didnt get much clear coat so base coat was exposed. Now we are talking about a black truck here. Oh well... just add it to the list of dissatisfaction. Right??? wrong.. its not over yet. 6 month. down the road, I was out on a balcony of a hotel looking down at my truck and noticed some read spots on what I thought was a newly cleaned truck. Lo and behold, the red spots were rust. I dont get to see the roof of my truck all the time but when I did I almost lost my lunch. The paint was bubbling and paint was peeling, you can see the swirl marks of the sander and it is so deep that you can actually feel it. They basically painted over the rust and spray it with clear coat. Im not even sure they bothered to put primer. So all in all, $3000 paint job looked like some cheap pain job. It was a mistake, I should have cut my losses and got rid of the truck and not get it painted. I donated this truck to the junk yard out of disappointment. I just dont want to see it again. My advice, dont go to this shop for body repair and paint. Learn from my mistake. They do cheap insurance jobs. Quick buck! It will be too late for you once they started. You think 2 year warranty helps? You can keep complaining but it will cost you time which is also money. Its hard to find a good body shop around town but let this be a lesson to future clients. Take it elsewhere, read the reviews first. I dont write reviews, I think it is a waste of my time. I did this to save people the time and aggravation. I just now buy brand new cars so I dont have to deal with this type of business.

Midway paint & body shop did a really nice job. I installed after market Spy headlights and brought my car to Mike in pieces. LOL It needed the bumper repainted, rust removed from the hood and some damages hurricane Matthews on the trunk. I checked a lot of places in Jacksonville and they wanted to charge a ton of money for very little work Midway did a phenomenal job on my 2008 Pearl Lexus in three days and was very reasonable. Mike went out of his way to help me out and I truly appreciate his kindness. Now my car looks new again thanks to Mike and his staff.

This was my first and only body shop Ive visited and love. I got into my first accident a year ago and came here to get it fixed and I got my car back like it was brand new. I recently purchased a brand new car that got damaged brought it back to Midway, and they fixed it easy peasy, 10/10 would recommend to a friend or even a stranger!! The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly and understanding!! Pictures below!!! As if nothing happened.

Horrible!!!! My son ans his girlfriend took the car there for a minor repair and it has been 3 weeks and they havent finish! Several excuses: They bought the wrong parts, now the person that answer says their employee is lazy and thats why car is not ready yet! Is this my problem if you cant deal with your employee???? Are they doing this just because the car owners are teenagers or are they just plain irresponsible???

These guys are FANTASTIC!! The price I was quoted was the price I paid with no extra hiden fees attached. I had taken my Acura to a few shops for quotes all saying the paint wouldnt match and quoted a higher price. These guys hit the paint color right on the mark. Everyone was super friendly and worked around my schedule so I didnt have to be without a vehicle over night. Love this place and highly recommend!!!

Floridas sun can be rough on paint. Had roof and hood repainted and very pleased with the service and paint job. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommend Mikes shop for any body or paint work needed. Mikes a true craftsman.
