I chose Newman Roofing after getting quotes from four contractors to replace my 25 year old shingle roof that was starting to leak. Newman proved that they were the best value, even though their price was not the lowest. The value started with the quote. Eddie listened to my concerns about a condensation issue on one wall of my living room. He knew that the roof above that section of the living room was not properly ventilated and made sure that the details were included in the quote. He also worked with us on choosing the right color of shingle to really accent the siding that we replaced a few years ago. We were thinking about going back to a darker brown shingle, but Eddie suggested a lighter almost gray shingle. He showed us larger samples of both colors up against the house and the suggested lighter color shingle was perfect. The result really adds eye appeal to our house. The value continued with installation. The first day was a no-go because of cold weather and snow. Alex was more concerned about the quality of the job than just getting it done. So we rescheduled for another day to allow for a little warmer weather. On the rescheduled day, the team arrived exactly as promised. Tim was there to fill in for a team member who was not going to be able to be there at the start of the project. He went over the job folder and verified the color shingles and work to be performed. Now this is where I was impressed. During the installation, the notes that Eddie made were reviewed and the team decided to peel the decking up over the living room area that had the condensation issue. They discovered that there was no insulation in that area and the cold air in that dead space was allowing the inside wall to chill and condense in the winter. Eddie called me to let me know what they found and what they suggested to do to resolve the issue. My phone was on silent and I missed there call. So rather than put it back the way it was, they added the insulation, replaced the decking and put the wall vent system in place. By the time I got the message, it was resolved! I cant imagine anyone else taking the time to investigate and then correct the problem! The house and the yard were left absolutely clean and youd never know that they were there except for the beautiful new roof and the Newman Roofing sign in the yard. All this in one day! Thank you for a great experience and for going the extra step in listening and resolving my condensation problem!

In the fall of 2014 a big wind storm blew off many shingles from our ranch house. Our insurance agent recommended Newman Roofing. He said they are a local company that does a great job and he recommends only them to his clients. Our agent called Tim Newman who came out to look at the damage. Tim said tarps would have to be put on the roof once the adjuster surveyed the damage. Tim’s people were out within a few days after the adjuster completed his work. Because of the cold weather, blue tarps had to be installed, until the work could be done in the spring of 2015. This gave us time to choose the color and type of shingle. Our sales person was very helpful, patient, understanding and did not rush us to make a hasty decision. In one day Newman Roofing removed all the shingles from our house and two out buildings and installed the new shingles. They covered everyone around the house so they wouldn’t get damaged. All ridge vents were replaced and one ridge vent was installed in the building that had none. They did everything that was in the contract including taking extra steps around the chimney, roof and ridge area to prevent water damage. They took a big magnet around the whole area to pick up all nails. We couldnt ask for anything more. I would use them again and recommend them to everyone. We are very pleased with their job.

We hired Newman Roofing to replace the 20 year old roof on our house. After getting two quotes, we found Newmans to be $3000 less than their competitor. In addition to the roof, we asked them if they could come up with a solution to a problem we were having with poor drainage from the bay window in the back of our house. This had been causing our back door to leak during heavy rain. We also had an issue with our bay window leaking inside the house. Newmans took care of everything! They installed a piece of flashing over the back door to carry the water away that drains from the adjacent bay window. They also found the source of the leak on the inside which was coming from an upstairs window. Aaron, the project supervisor, sealed the window and installed the flashing. They were very efficient with installing the roof and did a great job cleaning up the debris. Not only do we have a new roof that looks great, we have no more leaks! There is one thing Newmans has that you wont find everywhere and that is honesty and integrity. They are not going to take advantage of any situation and they are always looking out for the best interest of the customer. I would highly recommend Newman Roofing to anyone looking for quality work at a fair price.

After receiving quotes from three companies to put a new roof on our home, we chose Newman Roofing. Their estimate was the lowest but their materials were a higher quality than those proposed by the other companies. Their sales personnel were friendly and patient, explaining every step of the process without any high-pressure sales tactics. Prompt and professional, the crew completed our roof - including replacing all of the plywood sheeting and adding a new bathroom exhaust vent - in only one day, working well into the evening to ensure it was finished on time. The field supervisors stayed in close contact with us through the day and the crew was polite, well skilled, kept the work area tidy, and left our place spotless when they finished. Since installation, we have had no problems and have noticed an improvement in our heating and cooling bills which is a testament to the quality of materials they use. We would not hesitate to recommend Newman Roofing to anyone (in fact, we already have) and plan to hire them again when we are ready to do other exterior work on our home.

The team at Newman Roofing helped us walk through the whole process from dealing with our insurance to the initial inspection to the actual roofing job. They were extremely patient as we navigated through each section of the process and took their time to explain their procedures and all of the options we were being given. There was none of the high pressure sales and scare tactics that weve become accustomed to for service work. One of things we really appreciated about Newman Roofing was their choice of products they offered: even the "lowest grade" option was comparable to the mid- or even top-grade product being offered by other companies, and their prices were very competitive. The installation was fast and painless and the job looked great upon completion. Working with Newman to get them paid was a breeze, too; no problems at all.
