I have lived in Westerville at 746 Mill Crossing since May 2013 when my new home was finished being constructed. Since I moved in our neighborhood has not had a regular postman assigned to a specific route in my observations. We get mail some days and other days it is not even close to being near the same time of the day. One day it will come AT 10am and another day at 7:30 PM. Yesterday is a good example of them not coming and yet I had important mail in the mailbox with the red flag up waiting to be picked up for dependable delivery. I talked to one of the delivery men one day and asked them why things were so eradic and was told by them that the mail delivery to our neighborhood has not been assigned a regular delivery person. Each day someone can pick the route up as an extra if the choose. I guess that means that if no one picks it up on a given day the mail simply does not go out. This has been very frustrating. I am asking the POSTMASTER assigned to 43082 to investigate this matter and insure we are treated in the same manor as other homes that have regularly assigned postmen. It has always been great being able to talk to a familiar person delivering the mail as it is the way a normal community operates. We simply want dependable mail service. March 20, 2015

I was waiting on a package that was to be delivered today. I received a text update that said my package was undeliverable due to having the wrong address. I called the post office only to be told my buisiness adress (which I have been at for 10 years) did not exists. They eventually sorted out the issue with the carrier and my package has been marked out for delivery since 11:28 am. It is now 6:47 PM and there is no package yet. I have been calling the post office for 4 hours trying to get throuhg but the phone rings busy ALL DAY LONG. Probably left it off the hook all day to avoid talking to people. No wonder the USPS has so much trouble. I try not to use them because of issues like this! Just got an update that there was no secure location to leave the package and a notice was left....No notice to be found though However there are lockers for our mail delivery that ALL mail goes to at this location (Polaris Mall). Dont know how you can miss all 50 + lockers at this location. This person needs more training.

Until my regular carrier left to be with her daughter in Norrth Carolina, I had excellent service. That happened about 2 months ago. There was an iterim where a sub was used. Now, I have a new gal. I cant name names, or I would. I had my first gal since I moved here in 2004 and SHE was a 5 STAR! This new gal.....doesnt knock, ring bell etc when there is a parcel to be signed for. Ys, its a new route....but dont know if she was MAIL CARRIER PREVIOUSLY !!! I hope I can eventually get the type of service my first one gave me. She was friendly and competent. Her name is Denise Jackson. I miss her. Hoping this new gal can catch on. It isnt snowing, raining etc....but she did not bother to get out of the truck and bring the parcel that I had to sign for to door. Just left a notice....and got the tracking number wrong, at that! I had the correct one. Supposedly, she is supposed deliver it tomorrow and my son will sign for me. My one star is based on this new carrier.

Very bad customer service is typical for this location or usps in general. Will mis-deliver most packages, Will mark them as delivered even though they arent on overnight packages to avoid being late. Will be verbally abusive on the phone if they even pickup. Most times or when busy they will leave phone off hook to prevent people from calling. Totally despicable service and theres nothing anyone can do about it because its the only location to get mail at your address. I guess this is all pointless to even complain because they are federal employees they are also union and cannot be fired, reprimanded or written up for acting badly. From now on i suppose i will just have to pay extra to ship though UPS or Fedex to avoid this insanity. Just sad our tax dollars pay for this. Careless, Reckless, Incompetent and just flat out bad people. I will admit there is 1 or 2 good people that work at this location but most apply to the paragraph above.

Absolutely the worst service ever, I expect more than what Im receiving. I have an online business and the LATEST disaster they have put me thru is this. I put 5 packages on counter, where they told me they wanted them bc there wall slot is ALWAYS too full, this was 3 days ago and I have 3 customers blowing my service line up, asking me when Im going to ship. 3 days ago! That is ridiculous. The customer service people are almost Always rude. In total, in the last year, they have literally lost 3 of my packages and I have spent hours in line asking where my items are, because 13 times they did not scan it EVER and it ends up showing up in another state. Ive had it. If you want to have a reputable business DO NOT DEAL W/ the Westerville post office. Ill NOW be shipping twice weekly and traveling to Columbus for drop offs when theres a perfectly great facility less than 10 minutes items from me, incompetent employees that are rude.

Worst service ever. Went to the post office to have an invitation weighed before ordering stamps. Was told 65 cents. Bought 65 cent stamps. Took the completed stamped sealed envelopes to the post office. Was then told that they arent 65 cents, they are 85 cents. They conveniently forgot to tell me about 20 cents extra that has to be paid because these have to be hand stamped. And, of course, they have no remorse, and no acceptable options. I have to buy additional stamps that dont match and are completely unacceptable because they screwed up. Or, as I was told by the rude customer service rep, "You can mail them this way, but they will all be returned to you." The supervisor was even more rude and less helpful than the customer service rep. I will never use this post office again. No wonder mail is a dying option for correspondence - the post office makes it impossible to efficiently do anything.

Westerville post office on Mccorkle is thee absolute worst post office. I have ever encountered in my life. If you actually want your mail delivered you are better off paying the extra money for ups or driving to Reynoldsburg where you know your package will be delivered. I had a package sent from there the day after Christmas and here it is the 8th of January and the package is no where to be found. I moved to westerville 4 months ago and they still havent found my mail thats been missing. Someone from the post office had the nerve to call me and say he "doubts" Im not receiving my mail. I have never experienced such horrible service and a bunch of peoplease that can careless about your mail. I have talked to the postmaster, mail carrier and the supervisor and I have gotten absolutely no where. Its ridiculous. And its no absolute way to file a formal complaint!
