No issues until now.... I, a black card member, visited Planet Fitness June 29, 2016. I was completly healthy as stated by my last full body physical that took place the previous day. After I got done working out, I went to tan around 550 pm in bed 8. The club and front desk was not busy. When my tanning session was about to start, I went to lay down. When I did, I laid in a big pool of the previous users sweat that sat in the middle of the bed where my only guess was that in was the sweat from the users back rolling off and the sweat from their behind!! Being the fact that I was already inconvenienced by having to wipe down the bed myself, i further noticed that the rest of the bed was covered in sweat. When I was done tanning, I took the door hanger to the desk and asked to see the manager. Where the male, who was working the front desk named Aj, rudely stated that "she was not here at the moment." Also, while he was talking to me, he was texting on his cell phone. I then proceeded to tell him what just had transpired. He had a huge smerk on his face as I was talking. As I continued to state what I had just witnessed, and the fact I could get all sorts of diseases from laying in a strangers sweat (all the while he continued to have the same smirk on his face) he interrupted me by saying "there is a spay bottle in there you can wipe it down" in which he stated in a very condescending and demeaning tone of voice. As I was walking away, I told him to have the manager contact me immediatly. He continued to laugh as I walked out the door. I am now concerned just how sick I could really get from this situation. The thought of all the types of diseases I could catch from this is plaguing me so badly as i am seriously considering cancelling this membership and taking the next course of action. This includes speaking with a laywer and contacting the health department.

Not a good first experience at all. A friend and I come and sign up for the back card membership. We get signed up and thats it. We were on our own we didnt get explained to us that we have to reserve anything on the computer, and we wasted someones time by trying to figure out how to work the total body enhancement by ourselves, not knowing that we had to reserve it! We felt like idiots and it wasnt our fault. It literally takes a two second sentence simply, you have to reserve on the computer! Thats all it would take. Instead they acted like it was out fault, horrible customer service, seriously youre employees arent even personable. I need a job and would love to work here and actually be nice to people and explain to them how to properly do everything. I also have great customer service skills I would recommend hiring better employees. And explain that you have to reserve when people sign up for the black card. Theres no way thats only happened to us.

Great, clean facility, wonderful staff. The members are mostly nice, and even when its crowded, theres always a machine available. My old planet fitness wasnt nearly as comfortable and well put together as this one! I never felt out of place. Glad I got a membership. Most people complain about the tanning beds. You should wipe down any equipment in the gym before and after, just for your own personal cleanliness. Theres many positives to planet fitness and just because the tanning bed was sweaty before you touched it doesnt make the gym bad.

Has (mostly) everything I need. When something breaks, they are good about fixing it quickly. The front desk is friendly and helpful. It gets busy some days, but since its 24/7 I can just come back later-- great for nightowls. -1 for being a place for self-improvement and having candy/bagels/pizza for members. Whats the message youre trying to send people? This is a great place for overall fitness. Serious weight lifters should find another gym for heavier weight, but whats here is more than enough for what most people need.

I absolutely love PF! I am always able to complete my workouts without any distractions. The gym is always very clean and convenient. However, I have ONE complaint; every single time I go to tan, the beds are NASTY!! They are never totally clean and I end up having to wipe it again myself. It is so disgusting especially knowing that people tan after their workout. Clean your beds.

They dont fill the sanitizer bottles half the time. The towels to wipe the machines down, are soak and wet. I went to the red room and they didnt turn it on. I went and said something about it not being turn, one of the staff thought it was funny. Some of the staff Ive seen a lazy. They stand around talk and play on their cell phones.

The facility is nice, and definitely worth the $10 a month membership. I have no complaints about the equipment, the cleanliness or the friendliness of the staff. The manager is very helpful, and responsive to customer needs and any issues encountered. I am pleased with the customer service I have received at this location.

If youre a gym rat, this place has some limitations. However, overall still a very decent place. For beginners, and everyone else, Planet Fitness has what you need. My only issue is that I cant drink out of a gallon jug because its "intimidation." Im 611. That doesnt make sense. Otherwise, extremely happy.

Everything has been great other than one night I took my brother and didnt know I needed a black card to have a guest. Instead of offering to upgrade me or help me in anyway the girl was very rude and went back to her conversation. My brother was going to join but after that I doubt he will.

Pretty good gym, with lots of equipment, tons of treadmills, and ellipticals. Not a weightlifters gym, dumbells max at 75 and nothing but smith machines. Also, when tanning, at least 5 times had tone get redressed and walk to the front desk, because they forgot to turn on the bed.

Sam Blazetic is by far the best manager at any Planet Fitness. I live close to Mentor, Willowick and work by Richmond Hts. I travel for work and get to visit different facilities. Willowick is by far the cleanest and friendlyest staff. Consider Sam when its time for a promotion.

Clean equipment, everyone seems to stay out of each others way. Staff is friendly. Gets crowded some times with all the college students. No one locks their lockers though, which is annoying because there is not a lot of locker space when people do that.

Love my PF! Great facility, wonderful staff. Always spotless. Not a gym rat by any means, but love going there. Lots of workout options, hardly ever have to wait. The also do nice things for guests and the community.

Clean up to date machines I love being at a gym where you feel happy to workout regardless of your physical condition, if you need assistance learning how to use equipment the staff is ready to help with a smile.

All the staff I have dealt with at the Willowick club have been very friendly. I love how clean the place is. Always plenty of room to get my workout done. Just finishing my third week and I am still loving it.
