The cleanliness has certainly taken a rapid decline since Matt left. The restrooms STINK!! Just some disinfectant added to the mop bucket would help. Floor needs to be vacuumed at least once a day. Put that $500 Dyson to work!! All machines need to be wiped down regularly. Dust is piling up on the cardio machines and in the corners of the carpeting. (Theres a wand for that guys.) Im extremely disappointed at the lack of attention to detail. All members pay a once a year $19 maintenance fee. What is being maintained?!?!? This gym hasnt even been open a year and is already showing decline. Two machines have been broken for at least a week. The lights in one dressing room have been out for 2 weeks. Hello?!?! Electrician!! My suggestion, put in management that can handle the job or train what you have how to better take care of the property. Overall, Fitness 19 is a great place to workout. The staff IS very friendly and willing to help clients learn the equipment. Personally, Ive never seen any sexism from the staff. If I do see it, its the clients. Nothing out of the ordinary. Its a gym for chrissake. Dah! If you dont like it, dress baggy. If its not directed at, you dont worry about it; your not that important. Ive been a member for a little over a year. You may not find a cleaner facility. The staff here takes pride in ensuring EVERYTHING is clean DAILY. The staff is friendly and it feels like a family everytime I go in there, warm and inviting. No pool, suana, showers and I dont care for those things, this gym offers everything i need to build my body with weight training and an excellent amount of cardio machines. There is a diverty of members from elderly to teenagers and I love it. I have had staff (Ryan), stop me on a couple of occassions to educate me on an exercise I was doing incorrectly or just to make me aware of the results I would get from doing a particular exercise. Other members are friendly as well, very courteous and helpful. I hired a trainer there last year by the name of Taylor and she got me together real quick and she was a BEAST. WELL worth the money spent towards personal training. I joined a gym closer to my home but it was dirty, dark and the atmosphere was heavy. I cancelled the membership and committed to driving 30mins just to get to this gym. The atmosphere alone is motivating. I recommend F19 Wickliffe to anyone looking for an affordable, clean gym with all the equipment you will need on your body building or fitness journey in life. I love this place.

All trainers and gyms are NOT the same. I have had three trainers evaluate/assess me. My wife has had two of those same individuals assess her. These individuals did not evaluate our bodies core for their strength, though one did start to give me core exercises. My wife and I have since learned how critical it is to have a strong core through our current trainer, JB, at Fitness 19. He is concentrating on our cores like none of the others did. Its what we need before we move on to the more complex machines and weights without hurting ourselves. JB focuses on our individual weaknesses to help us get stronger. Everyone would benefit from a customized workout to safely get to where you want to go without hurting yourself by exercising incorrectly. We believe we have found a great trainer in JB as he applies his Exercise Science degree. He is not just someone who knows how to lift weights. We are very grateful for JB and Fitness 19, which is a great place to work out.

Been here for five years, and have experienced all the changes. Very positive atmosphere here, especially in the last few months since the management change. Friendly staff, helpful trainers...Any questions you have will be answered! VERY CLEAN! It quickly became not only a place for my physical well-being, but for my mental well-being as well.. It has a "family" type of atmosphere, which I also enjoy. I would highly recommend this place to family as well as friends. Despite all of the newer gyms opening, this is my home, and I wouldnt change that! GO CAVS!

Awesome staff and trainers! Been there almost two years and the consistency of the product is what I love the most. Very noticeable when you see the same faces there daily saying "hello" as you walk in the door. Kept very clean by the staff, and the renovations that just got completed make it feel like a brand new gym. I dont need to have flashy in my gym, I need a clean, affordable place to go that has all the tools to help me attain my goals. From the friendly staff, to the free weights, to the machines, Fitness 19 Wickliffe has it all!

I have been a member for about a month now... every time I walking the gym, at least one person if not multiple are there to greet you with a smiling face... and by name! There is almost always someone cleaning. Although a smaller gym, there is plenty of equipment for even the busier times. They have a childcare that is actually reasonable and very friendly staff that interacts with the children. I have been working with Nick the trainer and love it! I actually enjoy going to the gym and would (and have) recommend them to everyone!

The gym is very basic, although if you are the average joe it is perfect for you, and the staff is very inexperienced. By very inexperienced I mean that it is basically a bunch of teenagers that run the place. They overcharged me for three months and at first only were going to refund me for one month. It took me a lot of yelling and grief in order to recieve a full refund. Also keep in mind that if you are going to quit you will need to give them a 30 day notice, which gives them a chance to bill you one more time.

I have been a member for about 3 years. I had always been reticent to join a health club. I have found in this case to be totally wrong. The staff have been terrific and the equipment is perfect for my needs. Working with my trainer Walter I have totally changed my quality of life to a status I could never have imagined. The atmosphere in the club is more like a meeting place for friends to hang out than that of a sterile business, I have never made a better investment.

Do not go here unless you plan to forever, because its nearly impossible to cancel your membership. A phone call is not enough for them. You have to write it down on a piece of paper in order to cancel your membership. They make you sign up using your bank information then 30 days to cancel the membership. They just trap you terribly and not worth it!

Really, people give it 2 stars because you have to write down that you want to quit? You have a right to cancel in the first 30 days or pay if you dont ? All this complaining. Welcome to the way the world works. A business is made to make $. The people who complain, I wonder if you work for free at your profession. Quit being such a tight a$$.
