I have used AMerican self storage before not just this location. They have always been wonderful to deal with. Charrise has been wonderful since taking over as manager, the last one that was there when I signed up stated I would get email updates when my bill was due, I never saw those till Charrise took over and now get those email updates to remind me my bill is coming due. I also needed a unit in a hurry as I was being forced out of my home and needed a place close by. I went in a Saturday and within a hour had a unit. I have been there since nov of 16 and have been pleased, gates open 7 days a week from 7 to think 9 is benefit when I need to get into my unit. The isles are very narrow to drive down have to peek around to make sure nobody is coming at you and drive slow never know somebody can come out of a door. I will keep using American self storage for future storage needs after I vacate my current unit and would reccomend either Norman location. Good job to Charrise for stepping up and working hard I hope she stays longer as manager.

Ive been a customer with American Self Storage for almost two years and my experience has been great. No hassles, the application process was too easy. Ive never had any problems with the storage unit or management. The manager has always been helpful and kind. While the facility is a little older, the actual unit is clean and has enough room for what I need. Monthly cost is affordable. The only drawback is the tight driving space between the rows of units. Ive been very fortunate to make my trips there when there was no one else on the same row of units. The location is very convenient for me.

Not only was this storage facility conveniently located close to I-35 in Norman, it was also a very easy company to work with. The unit manager, Mellissia, was exceptionally friendly and helpful and seemed always available to answer questions and help out with billing and payment issues. When I moved out, she even refunded the full months rent and pro-rated it, so that I didnt pay for one more day than was fair. I give this facility two big thumbs up! Thanks, Mellissia, for helping to make my move as easy as it could be.

They have a new manager here. Even though I was a long time renter and always paid at the end of the month, she locked up my unit on the 30th when they hadnt received payment on the 29th. There is a grace period in the contract, but I guess she just ignored that. Keep the copy of the agreement you sign if you rent here. You may need to refer to it again. But rent somehwere else. There is too much dust and the lockers get dusty inside.

Great location and helpful staff. I was moving a small/medium sized office on short notice and was in a stressful situation, the unit Manager Charrise was easy to work with and very helpful. Working with American Self Storage helped ease my stress. It was very helpful that Charrise opened the back gates which allowed the moving truck to move about a little easier. I would recommend this facility.
