Reserved my unit online which was a very easy process it really breaks down exactly what size unit you will need for your move. When I came into the facility I was greeted with a nice smile and warm welcome. We went and toured my particular storage unit and I was pleased with the accessibility. I was informed that I would HAVE to purchased one of their locks which was $20 I wasnt expecting to spend. Also throughout the process I felt constantly pressured to purchase additional items. I also wish it was outlined online that you HAVE TO purchase insurance. I was more than happy to purchase it for myself however I do wish wouldve been informed of that prior to my visit. I walked in expecting to only spend $25 and walked out spending $100. They assured me I was spending more out of pocket now so that my monthly price was cheaper which it was so I didnt complain to much about the pricing. I just wish I wouldve been informed of the extra cost prior to coming in. Other than that I had a good experience with the office and will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. If you decide to go with this place expect to spend more than advertised on website. These units are definitely the best priced in town I looked at a lot I different units before making the decision to go with public storage.

Set a reservation online because the price was pretty good. Just was gonna store a couch set. So I go in and they have to show you the unit before you sign anything which Im glad they did. I found out you cant use your own lock and have to use their locks. They want TWENTY BUCKS PER KEY! I walked away right then and there. So online it said Id pay 25 bucks total. Of I would of got the unit it would of been almost a hundred after "administrative" fees and keys and then how much the unit was. Dont waste your time if you want to use your own lock because they make you buy their keys for their locks.

UPDATE TO THIS: THEY WILL INCREASE YOUR RATE AFTER YOUR MOVE IN. Mine went up 10% in the first couple months. They just send you a casual letter...oh by the way we are increasing your price. While my check in comments are still correct...USER BEWARE...6 months in with no reason they increased my rate... Hard to rate after just moving stuff in...but check in was easy with heidi, unit was clean and door had a new seal on it. Lock is nice, price was one of the lower costs i looked at...roof looks solid...parking lot is clean...about all you can expect from a storage unit:

Heidi and kayla have been the best clients that i have ever had to work with. They have made my renting experience the very best and easiest ever. As long as I get them then i would NEVER CONSIDER RENTING FRON ANYONE ELSE. These two wonderful ladies are what makes me continue to rent from public storage, Wichita. I have had some rough experiences in the past while renting here at PUBLIC STORAGE and these two WONDERFUL LADIES HEIDI and KAYLA HAVE BEEN THERE TO LISTEN AND CORRECT ANY PROBLEMS. I have been a customer at this location for a good long while now! I have loved working with the staff at this location since the beginning! As of late I have had the pleasure of working with Mike and Kayla and they are AMAZING!!! I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking to fill their storage needs including the varies sizes locked units to the outdoor storage for other things. I went and toured the facility, decided to rent two spaces for my vehicles, and the employee(s) who helped me were very thorough and professional, answering every question or addressing any concern I might have. If I were to rate this place strictly on the customer service I received, I give it 5 stars.

Ive been a customer at Public Storage for a few years now and have to say Katherine seems the most courteous and qualified for her job. While most of the other employees seem to take their job seriously, Katherine actually seems to enjoy it; its not really expected that Id be personally greeted when I come through the gate, but its happened more than once and made an otherwise mundane experience all the more enjoyable.

Kayla was extremely helpful when I had a special request when I rented a storage unit. She showed me several and let me pick which one would work best for me. Every time I see Kayla she is always friendly, kind and very helpful. I wish every company had customer service representatives like Kayla. If you need a storage unit, I would highly recommend this place. Ask for Kayla for great service!

Was super excited that we got a great deal 50% off the rental of our unit as long as we had it. UNTIL they decided to change the rate and raised the rate and there wasnt anything that we could do about it. Several times the coded entry gate didnt work we would have to go out the in. There were also multiple times that the gates were stuck open when we arrived and never shut.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable rates. Jamie and Amanda are both very friendly when visiting. They remember who you are and acknowledge you by name when you come in. LaDonna works on Jamies days off. She also is like Jamie, Always has a smile and is very knowledgeable of any questions you ask.
