My family and I took advantage of the first months free storage. We needed a place to store our things as we were moving from one place to another and there was going to be about a 2 week gap between the two. Well, we rented a unit and were told that if we were in and out in less than 1 month, we would only be billed a admin fee of roughly 12 dollars. I was in and out in less than 2 weeks and even called the property manager upon move out to come inspect my unit. I was told as long as it was clean and nothing was left behind we would be good to go. The unit was spotless and nothing was left behind. So after the first month goes by, BOOM a charge hits my credit card for $101.20. Keeping in mind we have been out of the storage unit for 3 weeks at this point. Called and was told that the refund was approved by management and all they had to do was "push a button" but still no refund. Called again today and was not able to get a hold of the manager and reached an answering machine instead. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE OR YOU WILL KEEP GETTING CHARGED EVEN WEEKS AFTER YOU MOVE OUT OF THE UNIT!!!

Horrible service. They switched staff. The old staff was super helpful and very nice. They new staff is very rude and acts annoyed everything you talk to them. They will cut your lock when you are week late. They will call you and ask when you are gonna pay before your payment is even due. Everything is a hassle with them. You must go up there if you are late on a payment because they will deactivate your online account. Horrible customer service. They switched my payment date to being the first whenever my old payments were always on the 15th. They didnt tell me either so I had to pay twice as much or they were gonna sell my unit. Their units leak so most of my furniture has water damage and humidity damage and the insurance will not cover it. Horrible experience with the new staff. I would rather just leave my stuff outside then pay them anymore. If I could give them less of a star I would. They should really beg for the old staff to come back and take notes on how to treat customers.

We needed a storage space while we moved to a smaller location and while we havent actually moved our things in, so far we have had nothing but friendly and efficient customer service! I first called the 1-800 customer service line to ask questions and had fast, friendly service and a unit reserved at no cost up front. Once I actually went in to sign paper work and check that the size of the unit was going to be appropriate, I was again greeted with extremely friendly, and fast service. Lindy is amazing, understanding and very knowledgeable. She made going in to sign paper word with four kids quick and easy! The grounds themselves look like they are very safe and extremely well kept. We look very forward to storing our things here! Thank you, Lindy and Extra Space Storage for making this super easy so we could focus on the things we needed too!

Not only that I am satisfy with the location, the well maintained storage and the 24 hours easy and safe access but most of all I am immensely pleased and impress of their staff, in specific Mr. Ryan Hope, that not only is very professional, friendly and helpful but he walks an extra mile for your satisfaction by providing honest and accurate answers to your questions and concerns. In the past I rented approximately in 6 or 7 different storages but after this experiences my search has culminated, I would not rent or recommend any other storage building than EXTRA SPACE STORAGE in Norman. I was already pleased about getting a storage unit here because the staff was so helpful and friendly. But then, the staff did something that really impressed me. After a long day of moving my things in on a Sunday, I made the mistake of leaving without replacing the lock on my unit. On Monday morning, I received a call letting me know that they had noticed that the lock was missing on my unit. After the call, I checked my purse and sure enough, the lock was in my purse. I went in, checked my unit and replaced the lock. A big thank you to the staff who made me feel better about storing my stuff at Extra Space Storage.

Called to get a spot to park my boat. Called and talked to their call center, the lady told me that they had a spot and even gave me a discount price. I told her I wanted to go by and look at the spot after 5 pm to make sure I could maneuver the boat into the spot. She told me she would reserve the spot for me. When I showed up up after 5 to inspect and rent the spot the assistant manager told me the spot had been rented. I told him it was supposed to be reserved, he then told me it was first come first served. Very poor business practice in my opinion.

I am delighted with the new ownership of my storage units! They make me feel like family because they really seem to care about the renters. Ryan, the manager, was extremely nice, helpful and professional. The company is blessed to have him representing them. This is the cleanest and most secured facility I have ever used. The staff is very professional and friendly! The store manager is always very helpful, knowledgable, and kind to me whenever I need assistance. I currently keep a motocycle in the facility and I dont ever have to worry about it due to all of the security that the premises has including multiple surveillance systems. Hands down the best storage facility there is!

This place went above and beyond and helped with my move and closing my account. The staff is attentive and will listen and help! If you are in the Norman area and looking for a storage facility I highly recommend Extra Space! Seriously one of the most professional business experiences Ive had while I lived in Norman, so much so I am looking for the Extra Space facility here in Alabama to give my bus less to!

I love this place. They are the best and they help me out a lot. As long as u talk to them they will work with u as much as they can. If any body ask we where to go this is the only place they need to go. I have been with them for a year and a half and they have treated me like I am the only customer there. Went in today and got my storage unit and it was a great experience. When you walk in they have large monitors showing their cameras around the lot (which put my mind at rest wondering if my stuff would be safe here.) They commented how they check all units locks everyday and the surrounding area is gated. Seems very secure and that was my main concern. Glad I chose Extra Space Storage!
