I would NOT recommend using Hard Castle Construction. We did a sub contracted job for them in MN, for the fire sprinkler system modifications needed at a Dollar Tree. The work was completed almost a full year ago. And no payment has been made. They made it seem like they would pay their obligations. But continued to ask for multiple breakdowns and invoices. Once all of their requests had been met. Hard Castle Construction went silent. Emails are met with no reply. Calls are transferred and routed to voice mail. I have read other reviews dating back to 2008 about other sub contractors that have had the same problems as i did. Since Google is the most used, i felt the need to make sure as many people as possible know to avoid doing business with this company.

We had subcontracted with them for two Dollar trees a few years ago..everything went alright. However, we contracted with them for two more this year, no payment......we have liened the properties. They will not answer their phones, will not answer emails...etc. The Dollar Tree corporate stores have stated that they paid Hardcastle....now if only they would pay their subs. We are a small business, this is horrible for us - DO NOT DO WORK WITH THEM...EVER.

We are in the same boat as all the other contractors here. We were subcontracted in Osceola County Florida to do some fire alarm work and never got paid. Its a shame that companies like this exist, they only survive by stealing from all of these subcontractors around the country. The owner of this company obviously has no morals and should be ashamed of themselves..

Worst contractor to work for. We did subcontract work for fire sprinklers at Dollar Tree for 2 locations in Texas. Mounds of paperwork supplied to fulfill their request/requirements and still no payment. Lie on the phone, email, and want you to sign blank final waivers. Unethical thieving contractor! Dollar Tree Corporation beware!!!
