DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I got their contact details from Angie’s List. Called them in the morning and did not get a call back until mid-afternoon, while I was on my way out of town. They said they could be there in 30 minutes. I really needed an estimate for all the work I needed done, so I turned around to go back to the house. They arrived about an hour later than promised. The guy that came out was very helpful. He told me that it would be best for me to remove all the wallpaper before he did the texture work. He also told me that I would need to supply all the materials. His quote was for about five days of work for $3000. I told him, up front, that I would not be ready for the work to start for at least two weeks, to get some of the wallpaper down and to get materials. The House Doctors then called me every day for two weeks wanting to start the work. These messages were left by Bill and were very brief, with no details, and basically wanted me to call them back as soon as possible. I get the wallpaper off in a couple rooms, so I call them, wanting to get a materials list, and to schedule them to come out to start the work. I called them 16 times with no returned call. I email the guy that came out the first time asking him for a materials list. I did not receive a reply to the email. I call House Doctors again and get Bill. I ask Bill if the guy that came out still works there. I tell Bill that I email the guy for a materials list and did not get a reply, and that I’ve called House Doctors many times in the last couple of days. Bill gets extremely rude, wanting to know what numbers I called, how many times I called, when I called, what emails addresses I used, and he goes on and on, will not stop long enough for me to answer his questions. I finally tell him to shut-up, and answer his questions, and then he still goes on and on like this is my problem. The House Doctors are a national franchise. I will not recommend them to anyone.

We contacted house doctors to replace a water damaged window sill. We were told to purchase the stone that we wanted, make sure it was polished, and they would install it. I was told to have the stone cut 2 inches wider and deeper and that the house doctor employee would make the final cuts. We did this. The house doctor employee came and said he did not have the correct saw to cut the granite. He said he would come back in and install it once we had it cut. He marked where we needed to have it cut. We took it to have it cut. It was marked/measured incorrectly (by house doctors!) so we had to take it back again. We spent over 100.00 getting the piece of stone corrected AND we had to install it ourselves! There was no work or service performed and they did not do what they say they could. They also did not even take the time to measure our stone correctly. Why bother to mark it in the first place if youre not able to make the correct measurement? we ended up doing this whole project ourselves. Should have done this to begin with, and will next time.

The individual I worked with (Warren) was very pleasant, but there were a couple problems with the work overall. (1) It took too many visits because he was incomplete with the listing of the required materials. (2) There were issues with making scheduled appointments on time (3) Part of the job was never completed, and I was forced to try and escalate with company - still not resolved and (4) some of the painting / texturing work was of poor quality and I will eventually have to pay a professional painter to redo it.

House Doctors did some work for me a few months ago, and overall, they did a good job. The first time the technician visited, he realized he didnt have the proper size routing bit for the work that needed to be done. He asked that I reschedule, which was a bit inconvenient, but I appreciated that he wanted to have the right tool for the job. I tried calling twice this week to schedule some more service, and have never gotten a call back. If they would answer their phone, I might use them again.

They made a commitment to me. I took time off work, prepped the house and they did not show up. They called and said they could not make it that the only repairman was stuck in Oklahoma with a truck repair. I saw no effort to try to make the appointment with other resources, refer me or help me find a way to work with the set appointment time. Reputable service companies always make sure they do all they can. I do not trust this company. Its as simple as that.

I feel like the handyman who was sent out did a good job. He told me frankly when one of my jobs wouldnt work as I had planned. He arrived on time and worked steadily through the morning. Unfortunately I had not managed to purchase ahead of time all the supplies needed so he had to make a trip to buy them. I knew this beforehand, but had neglected to buy something. I know this added to the price and time involved. I would call them again.

Ive used House Doctors since 1999 and they always arrive when they say they will, do an outstanding job, clean-up the area they are working on and the bill is very reasonable! They dont tackle anything they arent capable of completing with professional results; hard to find in this day and age! Ive since moved and there is no House Doctors where I live :-( but I highly recommend this branch/franchise to anyone!

The bottom line is that before you spend $99 an hour on House Doctors, be sure the tasks are within their ability. I found that out to my great cost. When I posted a poor but accurate review, the owner, a Mr Bill Farley, called me and offered me a refund if I wrote a better review. I call that a bribe - and I refused. You can draw your own conclusions about this business.

House Doctors always does excellent work; I am always pleased with the results. I know how to fix several things, but as a single woman there are somethings I cannot do with only one set of hands. House Doctors is my go to company when this happens. The only problem I have at times is getting a date scheduled for the work; they are always quite busy.

I just called to get a quote on a glass repair, the glass repair was higher than anything Ive been quoted. I mentioned that was a big more than I wanted to spend I was told then keep it broken. Customer service was rude and simply disrespectful. I would not recommend spending money with a company thay cant respect a potential customer.

I had a ceiling fan in the bedroom literally burn out.Bought a replacement fan the next day and called these guys because I didnt want to try to install it. Same day service, the serviceman was very friendly and professional and the price was very reasonable. I will use them should I need service again.
