I was with this self-storage business for over five years with no problems. Then they changed ownership. A few months later I got behind on my rent (the first time ever) and my unit was auctioned off. I was able to locate the person who had the highest bid for my unit. He was very nice. I told him about some of the things I had in my unit with my offer to pay him for it. He then told me that it was obvious once he got inside the unit that the owners had gone through it first. He said the boxes had been opened and there were strange items inside some of them. He said there were barbie dolls with their hair burned off and some sort of sexual torture fantasy pictures of different girls.He told me he will never go to an auction at the Storage Depot ever again.
