Run as fast as you can for another storage company as this company is completely unorganized, unprofessional and rude. Check to see if they have an emergency phone number on their door. They dont have this number anywhere, if you have a problem. This is done intentional!!! I told the owner, Curtis,to post this number and he has chosen to ignored the request. The first day we were to move into our large unit, we paid several people to help us unload our truck. We were promptly at the facility at 7 am. We entered the gate code and it didnt work. After 4 hours of tracking someone down, we were finally able to enter the gate. Curtis, the owner, said he would give us a month free since we had to pay two people and waste a lot of time. Unfortunately, that was not the end of the story. We were paid in full, but because Curtis did not tell anyone in his office of the agreement of the free month, we were again locked out. Again it took several hours to get the code to enter the gate. The day we moved out, I emailed Iron Gate and told them that we had moved out. Britnees helper checked the unit and passed the Unit and applied Iron Gates lock to the unit. A few days later, I received the following email from Britnee the manager: "I will move you out of the system once the lock is taken off and I can see that the unit is empty. Until then the unit is not rentable and you are still occupying the unit. I do a walk though weekly, in fact, I will be doing one tomorrow afternoon. If I see the lock is taken off the unit by then I will move you out of the system no problem." She apparently, had not communicated with her helper which had previously put Iron Gates lock on the unit. To date, I am entitled to a partial prorated refund for the 1/2 month we did not use, and have not received it. An apology would have been really nice, NOT BRITNEES EMAIL THREATENING ME!

My experience was horrible. I would not recommend renting from here. When I reserved a unit for a month, I was told I would receive a discounted rate. However, we were charged about $70 more than promised. It was an extremely long and drawn out process to eventually receive that refund (about 2 months). In addition, we rented a U-Haul the date that we moved our possessions into the unit. When we arrived at Iron Gate, the code we were given would not open the gate. We called Iron Gate, and no one answered our calls. It was well within the hours of operation for the gate to still be accessible and open. However, the gate was malfunctioning, and we couldnt enter. As a result, we had to rent the U-Haul for an additional day so that we could finish moving our things. Iron Gate refused to reimburse us for this cost, despite the fact that we paid for a service that didnt work! The entire process in trying to receive these refunds were insane. Again, dont waste your time here unless you want to run the risk of being overcharged (and not be able to get into the gate....).

Havent had a problem for several months until today. I was late paying my rent so of course the access code wouldnt let me in the unit ( thats fine with me because I was late) , so I made a payment online. It took three days to get my access code reactivated and I was not given credit for the days that I was not able to access my unit because their office staff did not reactivate my access code. If I didnt have access to their unit, I should not be charged rent for those days. Spoke to a rep who refused to give me credit for it.

I found all contacts with Britnee to be very helpful. She even helped me to find the best storage options and rates. With a long distance move, her guidance was indispensable. I feel my belongings are safe and secure and am thankful, they are nearby. Britnee made it clear that I should not hesitate to call on her for any reason. I have been a customer of Iron Gate Storage for about 15 years. People tend to stick around. Management has bent over backwards many times to make paperwork work smoothly, find us units that work for us, and to provide cordial, efficient customer service, all around. Grounds are always immaculate. Units are attractive and well-maintained. Weve developed a great relationship over the years. I recommend Iron Gate Storage without reservation.

There are some electronic problems - one time the gate would not open. Also, when Ive tried to pay online and by phone, my payment would not process, but then when I took the same bank card into the office, my payment was accepted without any problem. No compensation was offered for the time the gate would not open, but I dont know if other storage companies offer compensation in a circumstance like that. I like the space

I found the manager, Brittany Hansberry and her staff very proficient and professional in handling all of my questions and alleviating all of my potential concerns. We have used Iron Gate since March of 2012 to store our Travel Trailer and we have found that the staff is always friendly and helpful. The location of the storage sight is very convenient and we would recommend Iron Gate to anyone needing a storage locker or place to store an RV, truck or car.
