Three plus years ago as a newcomer to the area I was ambling down the Riverwalk when a tiny person in a halo of white hair Pied Pipered all three of my dogs. Trusting their judgment I signed up for and came to appreciate the ambience and effectiveness of yoga and Pilates classes with Peter and soon experienced my first KiHara session with Peg and Dave. My twenty year chronic low back pain due to a tightened IT band has since been resolved by resistance stretching, so completely, that I seldom even think of it. Theyve helped me greatly improve my posture and the scapular release I experience in my current KiHara sessions is so effective, the relief brings tears to my eyes. The online how-to videos keep me up to date with my BAM classes when Im out of town and I dont pay extra for that service. They know what theyre doing and will tailor their recommendations, classes and treatments to suit your individual needs. So thankful my dogs led me to Riverszen.

RiverZen is one of the hi-lights of living in Astoria for me. We moved here from San Francisco and I felt that I would never find a comparable studio to Parusha in SF. RiverZen has way exceeded my expectations and much more.. The view of the river is amazing; the teachers are better than I have ever experienced; and the mellow vibe calms me right down.

I love Riverzen studio . They have such a variety of stretches, work outs and yoga all in one place. The trainers are awesome.everyone is so very helpful . I would encourage you to give them a try if you are looking for a well trained, fun uplifting studio to practice at
