This Gym is the best value around. I previously reviewed this gym — you can see that below. Since the owner responded, its best I leave that so you have some context. I joined Workout Anytime after touring many of the gyms in the area. Initially, I didnt have the best impression. However, the staff has been very helpful. Their prices are quite simply the very cheapest Ive seen in Beaverton, and you get a lot of cool things for what you pay for. Initially I had a problem with this place because some of the gym equipment did not accommodate my height and the length of my limbs. However, today I noticed a way they could be adjusted to do so, but such an adjustment would require tools. Not a simple adjustment everyone has access too. The gym attendant, Kelly, was all too happy to whip out her tools and make the adjustments for me. I got the premium membership for $25 a month, plus some bullsh1t initiation fee, and eventually I will have to pay some kind of yearly-fee, but still better than the other gyms in the area. This premium membership is a great value. It allows me to use the tanning beds(which I do), the hydro massage, and also to bring a guest with me for free. I love that they have a towel service, nice lockers, and places to set things in the main gym area. I left my totally awesome water bottle that I just bought there today, but Kelly was happy to set it aside with my name on it until I get back to pick it up. This gym is a great value with great attendants who are always cleaning! (Sorry you guys have to work so hard, but thanks!) ~ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW~ Im 65" , tall but not insanely so. Ive been working out for a number of years, but am not some ripped bodybuilder or anything. My main problems here are in relation to my size. I max out the ab machine on weight, and many of the other machines will not allow me to fully extend before the weights smash into the post. Very annoying and a little dangerous. Some of the cardio, like the bike and elliptical are not particularly comfortable at my height. It took me a little bit to find the rowing machine. I expected them near cardio, but they were tucked off in a corner. They too were too short, and I crashed into the back of them before I could fully extend my legs. Still, they had much better resistance than what Im used to, so I like them well enough. I am currently on a guest pass. I will enjoy the freebee, but will probably find somewhere else when it expires. The good news is that this gym is pretty cheap, $15 a month right now, but I was working out at my local college before and it was cheaper and better. This gym is quaint. The locker rooms are small and there are only 2 showers that are also kind of small. There seems to be way too much cardio equipment. The free weight area can be a little hazardous, and things there should probably be repositioned so that the bars for weight plates are not sticking out and jabbing me in the elbow when I walk by, but maybe thats just me. I do like to pace around between sets. When I walked into the gym today the manager was eating some kinda garlic lasagna that stank the entire place up. Gym attendants eating stinky food in an area where I can smell it is kind of a pet peeve of mine. Its not completely horrible, if I was in walking distance Id get a membership, but Im not, so Ill continue looking around the area. UPDATE: I bumped this up a star because I found the rowing machines, and my next couple of days there went a bit better. After visiting the local 24hour fitness, I have to say I like Workout Anytime better. Compared to 24hour fitness, the environment is much more colorful and inviting, with better LED tube lighting. Not horrible unflattering fluorescent tube lighting.

This gym is the best locally supported place youll find in the state. Rick did a tremendous job starting this place out, and Ive seen it grow since becoming a member last year. The staff are also great and friendly people, as are the trainers. Theyre experienced in their profession, and are happy to offer advice without having to worry about you paying for it. Workout Anytime has weekly evening workout sessions, for affordable prices. I dont attend them myself, but I pay attention to those who do, and I can tell that their hard work is simply paying off. Best perks/benefits that sets this place far and above anywhere else: 1. No contracts! Why pay hundreds of dollars at 24 or LA? Those are ridiculous, and youre locked in! 2. Sign-up fees are minimal. First month, application fee, and fob. Its cheap. 3. You can pay for the premium membership, and get full tanning! For the women, why go to a tanning place and spend way more than you have to, when you can have access to the gym AND tanning for cheaper? 4. Massage bed with the premium membership. Just pay the extra few bucks and take advantage of this machine. Its incredible. You wont want to get out of it after a workout. 5. 24 hour access. 6. You can use the outdoor turf for sled pushing. Free weight area for cleans and those sorts of workouts. Bumper weights. Free squat rack, barbell benches... 7. Friendly and outgoing staff willing to help you out. 8. Small gym, even when its "busy", machines and cardio stuff are easy to access. Its not overcrowded. 9. Youre supporting LOCAL. Keep up the great work!

If you want to get in a 30 minute workout that will have you dripping sweat then this is for you. There are no locker rooms or spa services, you come in and immediately get started on a 30 minute workout using only TRX ropes, kettle bells and your own body weight so the exercises are perfect for working not only all the large major muscles but also the tiny ones needed for balance and coordination. This style of exercise is perfect for anyone who wants a no muss no fuss, hard core workout on the way home. I wouldnt recommend this for anyone brand new to exercising as there is no warm up and not all the exercises are demonstrated and gone over so that a beginner could be assured of having proper form. However, if you have the basics down of how to properly lift a kettle bell or dumbbell and other basic exercises such as squats using correct posture and form then this is definitely an awesome class and you will sweat and get a great workout day after day. Scott varies every workout and is quick to offer customizations for different ability levels so workouts are never dull and his positive, "can do" attitude makes you want to come back even if your sore. The first class is free so you should definitely come in and try a class, I bet youll be back again and again if you do :-)

First off all the price is really great! $15 for basic and $25 for as much use to the tanning bed and hydro massage table. Music is going all the time and have TV’s all over the place. The thing that is great about this gym is that it’s open anytime of the day! if you feel like going at 9 PM or at 4 AM you can go. They give you a key card that opens the door anytime of the day witch is nice. They also have schedule training classes, that anyone can take during the day. normally there are only about 3-5 people in the classes. Classes take about 30-60 minutes. There different every time and have are designed for beginners to advance classes. For having so many member that they have the gym is never seams to be busy. When i go there seams to be 5-10 other members there. I HATE busy gyms so this is great for me. The is all ways friendly easy to talk to and anytime you need help are there. The gym is all ways clean and fresh! Overall I give the gym 5 stars. The price is great, open 24/7, clean and the staff is helpful.
