I was told the gym was supposed to open a while ago then told to open mid-Jan then told 1st week of Feb now being told March??? I would like to purchase a membership but I would like to use my membership when I purchase it.. My husband and I are both wanting a membership and was trying to decide between the YMCA or Planet Fitness but now we are starting to wonder if going with Planet Fitness is not the right move.. also one of my reasons behind going with Planet Fitness was tanning and massage but now starting to wonder if waiting to use equipment will be an issue or the quality on a monthly basis of the bulbs compared to Desert Sun.. I know right now I can get a YMCA and Desert Sun monthly package for around 40 a month per person.. it May be more worth it for quality and dependability.... And I put emphasis on dependability since the gym has not opened on schedule and no telling when and when I called this locations number last to inquire on opening date and membership details I was hung up on and tried calling back for several minutes and the phone line was busy.. I ended up calling Puyallup.

new facility, terrible place. equipment isnt cleaned after each use (not gyms fault but take that as a precaution before using equipment). equipment is out of order most of the time. most of the staff is unfriendly and unprofessional. was given information by a manager and when i brought it up to the staff, they just talked to me like i was stupid. also, a huge rip off and a scam. i had cancelled my membership and they still took the money out of my account. i was told that once the money was taken out it could not be refunded (even when the money shouldnt have been taken out in the first place). this place is terrible and doesnt care about their customers. just use your money to invest in an at home gym.

This location is not even open yet, so I am surprised that there are already 6 reviews! Ive been anxiously waiting for a "grand opening" announcement flyer or banner to be hung up outside the building. I was definitely confused when I finally received a flyer in the mail for a "$1 down" offer just this week. It said nothing on the paper about presales or a grand opening, so I sent my boyfriend to drive by about two or three days ago. He said that construction was still being performed and it still looked fenced off. I sure hope it opens soon! I would love to leave an updated review.

Love everything about this gym, the only down side is that theres no child care which would be a plus to all the great things about planet fitness. Love the hydro massage so much, especially for myself due to chronic joint pain, it really is enjoyable. Its "judgement free zone quality is also great, I struggled a lot at my first gym cause there was a lot of people that made me feel uncomfortable. But planet fitness makes me feel like everyone is on the same boat, just pushing themselves to achieve their own personal goals and not trying to show off for others around them!

Poor customer service performed by unprofessional and arrogant millenial types that couldnt work a real job if they tried. The gym is poorly designed with badly designed equipment, bad layout, and not enough of the types of equipment that would really be of benefit. Gym has no racks, no benches and no ab boards. Its as if the "gym" was designed by someone who never actually did a real workout in their life. Was charged a cancellation fee even tho membership was month to month. All around-skip this place-No-RUN from it!

Not sure why they removed the squat racks and all bench presses, as well as the heavier weights. They even did away with a lot of the machines as well. Good way to alienate previous patrons of the converting gym, but I guess this is just the way planet fitness does things? Still possible to get a great workout in if you are beginner-ish level, but no squat rack is a deal breaker for me. I would not really recommend this gym to anyone, but if you are just starting out itll work for you.

Normally I go to the university place location but its been closed for a few days so I came to this location yesterday. I must say I was super impressed. The second I stepped into the facility I was in love. The front desk were very friendly and informative. The bathrooms are very clean and well kept. There are tons of equipment with a good variety of different machines to use. I have nothing bad to say about this gym. I will definitely make this my permanent gym.

Well, its big and everything is purple which is my favorite color. But, signing up for the black card membership entailed I was to get a tour of the facilities which I did not, so my mom and I kind of wandered around nervously looking for a place to stretch. Also, no pool which is a bummer. Not that its advertised but it would be a nice edition. Overall, its okay but someone should let the staff know their basic hospitable duties as detailed on the website.

Definitely the best value gym for the price: $20 a month for the "black card" membership, with 24-hour access, guest admission, unlimited massage chairs, tanning beds, and the weird little total body massage pods. I especially love that they actually enforce their policy against gym rats slamming weights or camping out over the equipment. Not a big fan of the TVs everywhere, but its more than worth being able to workout and use weights in peace.

Worst place ever, i hardly use my black card...i wanted to cancel my membership but they said i cant cuz i need to pay $58...smdh...at first they said their monthly payment is $19 after a month they send and email saying they going to change the monthly payment to $22..what a BS...LA fitness is better than yall...they overdraft my card a lot of times..they also use my billing info to pay for other people acct. Yall suck.

I joined about 2 months ago was going pretty regularly then tore a hamstring I was down for 2 weeks and couldnt wait to get back and workout at Planet Fitness I am very impressed with your gym very clean, very friendly staff, I love all the novelist and Cardio machines you have to offer, Ive been to a couple of different gyms in the past and feel that Planet Fitness has more to offer for what I am looking for.

I love this location. Its a 5 minute drive from home and theyre open 24 hours. I get off of work late and go in and am greeted by the kindest people that work there. Everything is kept neat and clean. There isnt really anything bad to say or any problems I can say Ive had there. I would avoid going at hours when its busiest, so theres a lot more space to work out in (if you arent one for crowds).

My sister and I came for the first and were a little disappointed that no one showed us around. There were several people at the front counter and it wasnt very busy. We did the 30 minute work out and a another guest showed us the ropes. Thank goodness for her. We also said when we checked in that it was a first time. We are in our 60s and really couldve used some direction.
