I wouldnt have even given this company one star. But it requires it to write a review. I am beyond disappointed with this company. We had our dodge pick up towed over on a Thursday evening. We were set up for a Friday morning appointment. No one called with a diagnosis at any point. We had to call. They told us it would be done Wednesday evening, maybe Thursday morning. By Friday evening, and getting the run around about when it would be done, they finally agreed to pay for a rental car but that the truck wouldnt be done till Monday or Tuesday. Monday morning we call to find out an update and they inform us that they had other cars to work on and the tech was frustrated so they didnt even work on it Friday. After this they tell us that they missed one of the problems and it would add more time and another $1000 to an already $3000 bill. I work in customer service and do not appreciate the lack of communication and the lack of customer service. I will never use or recommend this business to anyone.

Just wait to hear it all... Brought my 99 F150 in to replace radiator and possible heater core. They repaired the radiator quick and easy at a good price. The price they quoted me for the heater core shocked the heck out of me... I called a couple of other shops and found they were pretty much spot on. A little more, but not much. I decided to let them do the work. The previous owner of the truck had gotten in and created all kinds of issues like cutting the dash/ heater box and trying to glue it back together. The guys took the time to explain everything to me. It took an extra day to get a part, but they kept me in the loop every step. They were able to fix an extra issue I had with my gear shifter and even gave me a break on the price for the delay. I was treated very well by All the staff. Thanks Darin, Anthony, and team!

I gave an okay star rating. They didnt work on my car because I thought $200 dollars to clean the oil on the bottom of my car and put a seal on the speedometer cable? That was way out of price range to basically do more diagnosing. They couldnt find any leaks when I knew there was one (valve cover gasket on driver side) and couldnt find where the sound was coming from when we test drove it (speedometer cable/the head of the gauge) After hiring a mobile mechanic and within 10 minutes he figured those things out. Where as I spent an hour or so here not finding out what my car needed work. Ill say they are nice and polite people but probably wont come back here after realizing they didnt help me in the end.

Very happy with MTA Gresham! My 96 Lincoln Towncar was giving all sorts of error codes.....the mechanic at MTA took the time to sort thru all the issues at hand, and managed to only have to do a minor repair. I know from experience, there are a lot of mechanics out there who take every opportunity to charge for unnecessary repairs! Over the many years that Ive taken vehicles to MTA Gresham, Ive never had a bad experience! And John did a great job of explaining what was happening as the diagnostic process went on. I know with a 17 year old car, I will be needing a mechanic in the future, and I also know that I can return to MTA Gresham with confidence......

Took my 2006 Maxima in for error code (EGR valve) $150 to tell me both my main cat converters were disintegrating and pieces were in the EGR. They recommended replacing both at a cost of just under $3K. Didnt have that kind of money laying around at the time so I didnt drive it for 3 months to save up $$. Took it in to a nearby Gresham competitor. The car was repaired and ready to pick up the next afternoon. $295 out the door! ( it was the cam positioning sensor). So you decide who you would trust with your car. By the way the competitor is a major city in Ohio thats home to the Indians and the RR HOF.

These guys are incredibly helpful. Took in a car I was looking at buying off of Craigslist for a pre-purchase inspection. I was in and out in about a half-hour. They were very straight-forward about what was good and bad with the car. They quoted me a rough price for about how much it would cost to get everything up to speed. Everyone there was incredibly nice and friendly and not even the least bit pushy. Im very happy with my experience there and with the advice that I got! Will definitely be using them for upcoming maintenance and work. Cannot recommend them enough!! Great shop!!!

I have an senior citizen co-worker. She has been having overheating problems with her car. She had it towed in by Master tech because the heating needle was on HOT and steam was coming out of hood. Mastertech changed her spark plugs and gave her a new tailpipe and suggested she get a new water pump/timing belt. Charged her $700 for spark plugs/tail pipe/labor. Now she cant afford a new water pump (which is what she really needed in first place, she has a timing belt from 4 yrs ago). This is financial elder abuse and Mastertech you should be ashamed of yourselves!!!

I dont know what Casch is talking about, Mastertech Auto Repair was an amazing experience for me. I first took my car to another auto repair shop and they quoted me a price that was extremely expensive, when I took it to Mastertech they quoted me a price that was almost a third of what the first guy wanted. But dont let the price fool you, these guys were efficient, fair, and well priced. Their service was grade A quality and they more than deserve the five stars I rated them. Bottom line, if you dont want to get ripped off, check out Mastertech.

My Life Happenings
Had a wonderful experience today. Went in to get my A/C checked out because it wasnt working on my 2006 PT Cruiser. Now it is in working condition and only took a couple of hours. Runs great so far and was told to come back if it has a problem again and to come in in a week so that they can check for any leaks. Plus they provide you with a complimentary 1 year of Road Service too. They were all very polite and provided me with coffee, crackers and also bottled water. Great place.

Great customer service always able to keep my vehicles on the road always able to help out in a bind to quickly and get my cars in. I drive clear from Washougal, Washington to Gresham, Oregon to get the great costumer John and Anthony provide. I work graveyard and my wife works day shift and we have a little one so we have to have both cars on the road for work, and traveling to and from for my sons activities and they never seem to fail me.

Woman Who Knows, I have been a customer for many years. I will go to no other shop. They are efficient, reasonably priced and very customer oriented. The prices and warrenty are the best around. At first I shopped around and checked prices, warrenty and results from other people. This shop is always the best bargain and my cars always run very well. You should try this shop. You will not go to anyone else once you have gone here.
