So I went to the Firestone on 6th Ave to get a quote and make an appointment for new tires The first guy I met at the counter asked me what size tires I needed. I told him I did not know, couldn’t he look that up? He said no only she (pointing to a woman) can. SHE was busy having some discussion with another person from Firestone (was obvious) about a bad debt they were trying collect. She looked at us and said “I dont know how long I will be! So I stood waiting. Then another guy came in and started to help me. He found my size and told me the price and said that included the Firestone Tire warranty. I said to him that I did not want to buy an extended warranty. Immediately the woman that was on the phone ended her call and told me “those tires are on sale right now let me help you.” She then lowered the quote and made the appointment. I assumed she did not include the warranty as she has just heard me tell the other guy I did not want it. After I left I went through the printed out quote and saw that they had included the warranty in the quote. On the day of my appointment I arrived right on time. The one and only person on the counter was helping a walk in customer and did so for the next 20 minutes as I stood waiting. When she got to me I said I was here to buy my tires but I wanted the warranty taken off. She said “you can’t get that sale price if you dont buy the warranty.” The warranty is the same price as the discount they call the sale price. I again said I did not want the warranty and this lady said I could talk to her (pointing to the shop where I saw the lady from yesterday arguing on a phone call with somebody. I said OK and stood waiting. After seven minutes more I just walked out and went to Les Schwab, two blocks down the street. They took me right in with no appointment and gave me a lower price with no scam warranty!!! While I was waiting at Les Schwab the lady from Firestone called me to ask why I didn’t come in for my appointment. I told her I did and got tired of waiting and left. I also told her I did not want to buy her warranty as it is all over the web as a scam. I told her goodbye and hung up on her. She called right back, I ignored her and highly suggest you also ignore these people. Bad business and a scam at best, maybe not even legal to try this bait and switch warranty thing, but I am sending this to my states Attorney General for them to look into!

Took my truck in for an alignment. No big deal right?! I replaced my steering box, pitman arm, and idler arm and needed to line everything up after the work I did. Long story short. It took 4 hours (I waited) for them to do the "work." When I paid they gave me a highly recomended repair estimate and said the state required them to inform me of a "dangerous state of disrepair" totaling $650. Mind you I am an engineer by day and a mechanic by weekend. I was surprised that my whole front end (tie rods, ball joints, etc) "needed" replacement. I laughed and left knowing it was all tight. I must say I may have mislead them by wearing a suit to their shop. They may have assumed that I had no understanding of mechanical engineering related to the auto industry. But thats no excuse to suggest gratuitious repairs. Anyway, upon leaving I noticed it drove almost the same as before. I dont drive it regularly, and thinking an alignment is so simple what could have gone wrong, I parked it and kind of forgot. Then a month later I drove it again. It was wrong for sure so I went to les Schwab for another alignment. The informed me the factory knockouts are still in place so they (nor anyone else) could have performed a full alignment. I was a bit concerned to learn this. Caster and camber are important adjustments! And firestone did neither and charged me for it anyway! They only did toe. Schwab also backed up the fact that the $650 suggested repairs were totally bogus! I went back and pointed this out to the manager and got a refund and apology for services not rendered. Be careful if you shop here and for your own good get a second opinion!

Hit a pot hole amd my tire went flat. Took it Im to see why my tire kept going flat a few days later when they had an opening. Was told my tire needed to be replaced. Got car back at closing. Tire went flat immediately and had to bring it back the next day for reinspection. Turns out my wheel is actually cracked in 2 places. They wont refund me my money for tire so I can by my wheel package. Car has been stuck there for a week and manager avoids me. Been a customer for 5 years. Will never allow them to touch another one of my cars or anyone elses I know or come in contact with. One of the customers that was listening to my story said she was never coming back then randomly they said they wouldnt do the rest of the work on her car because her seat belt didnt feel safe enough to test drive eve. Though they already worked on her car and identified the problem that needed to be fixed. They even pulled her away from me when she told me she thought the manager was racist and i should call a lawyer. The had her come into the work bay to talk to her the entire 20 to 30 mins I was on the phone with him to explain why her seat belt wasnt safe enough to test drive her car again to do the next set of work. I have never experienced treatment this from an establishment regardless of the color of my skin.

Do not go here - they have horrible customer service. My husband foolishly had brought his car here too many times to count. Yesterday we have the car towed in at 9 am, they wait until 6 pm to even attempt to fix the water pump, etc. and he has to call at 6:15 wondering why he hasnt heard from them after multiple employees told him it would be done the same day - oops they didnt realize it needed another part that they need to call the dealer for, well the dealer was open from 9 am - 5 pm ... yet they couldnt get their act together or actually do their job so they could have ordered the part. Now it turns out the part needs to come from Cali. So the car still isnt fixed. I will NEVER bring a car here again. When I brought my volvo in for an oil change they couldnt get the oil filter out - WHAT A JOKE!!!! Dont waste your time or money with these fools they will SCREW YOU. Go elsewhere, its worth it.

YOU WANT THINGS DONE RIGHT GO TO FIRESTONE. 1st i went to Pro Automotive & Tiles - DO NOT FALL FOR their CHEAP ESTIMATES - THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF LATER!!!!! If you do not know much about cars - they will make you believe that you need thousands spent on repairs. I needed alignment done to my vehicle, these guys told me that i need to change a part that will cost me $1000.00 then charged me $26.00 for looking at my car that was not disclosed when the car was dropped off. I WENT TO FIRESTONE ACROSS TEH STREET FROM Pro Automotive & Tires and they fixed everything for $104.00 alignment for all 4 tires and now my car drives fabulous and I DO NOT NEED THE PART THAT Pro Automotive insisted on. YOU WANT THINGS DONE RIGHT GO TO FIRESTONE
