I absolutely love Ritual Hair Design. I ran across their website about 6 months ago, while searching for a salon that does thermal straightening, and they popped up as one of the results in Hillsboro. After checking out their website, and viewing their pricing and some photos of their work I felt confident that this was the salon for me! I called to make my appointment and the receptionist was extremely polite, and answered all my questions about thermal straightening, so I made an appointment for the following Saturday. When I arrived at the salon I was immediately greeted by their friendly receptionist, and offered coffee, tea, or water. Almost immediately after, I was greeted by my hairstylist, Shawn. She once again answered all of my questions about the thermal straightening process, and made me feel extremely comfortable with the whole process. I left the salon with beautifully straight hair, and have now become a regular. I now get my hair cut and colored there, and also get my legs and eyebrows waxed by Lindi. I’m extremely happy with my hair and have gotten tons of compliments on it since I’ve been coming to Ritual.

Went in for a bayalage color and cut. I showed the stylist a picture of what I wanted and, im not sure if the stylist didnt know how to do it and didnt want to say, but they ended up just giving me highlights and lowlights. I hate it. And I spent over $200! I trusted their expertise and thought going here with good reviews Id be so happy with the result...i was very disappointed. My Mom also went for a cut, and all over color...ended up getting talked into highlights and lowlights. Hers looks great, but again not what she ordered. We were there for 4 hours total. The phone rang constantly, and as there was only 1 person there it never got answered. We wont ever go back. I had high hopes. Sorry we didnt hit it off Ritual

The best place I have gone to have my done. Ive been going here since at least 2006 and I have not once been disappointed. I see Shawn Smith, who not only specializes in highlights and great cuts, but also provides me with constant entertainment. It really is "hair" and a show. I will continue to recommend everyone who wants to look flawless to Ritual Hair Design without hesitation.

Love the new ritual! I got my hair cut with Kristan she was amazing. I have never actually been 100% happy with a haircut and thats why I hate getting my hair cut. I have never had a hair stylist that actually seemed like they knew what they were doing until now. I always went to Whitney when she was there now Kristan is totally my new ritual girl!

I been looking for a great Hillsboro hair salon ever since I moved out here and I finally found what I am looking for! Really nice atmosphere and such friendly people working there the best part, of course is that my hair stylist made my ombré look just like the picture that I showed her. Ill be back!

I’ve been a customer at Ritual Hair Design for years now. I’ve seen several different hair dressers over the years and never had a bad experience. The salon is high-end for the Hillsboro area, but you get what you pay for! I have referred many friends to this salon and will continue to do so.
