I made an appointment Jamie (The owner) for some highlights on my black hair, she stated that the picture I showed her and the outcome wouldnt look the same. I was fine with that as long as it looked good. I had her cut my hair as well, which I DID like-, however, the highlights only took on the top part of my hair. She told me to come back and wed get it 100% next time. So $220 later I just had Carmel highlights on top of my head. I made another appointment (against my instincts) a few weeks later and was once again, very disappointed with the outcome. I have very little definition, which I told her before I left, and she stated it was the lighting and the product in my hair. another $110 later, I went home and cried. I then texted her stating how upset I was and her response was "you had black hair, takes sessions." I have had my hair dyed "Darkest Brown" From Sallys multiple times in my life and have gotten highlights on it many times and NEVER had an issue before. Im not from Salem and I came to her due to great reviews and convenience... Now I wish I never had done anything, I asked for a refund for my last appointment or for her to fix it at no charge but she said no to the refund and shed charge me to re-do it. I had my mom do my hair a few weeks later and it turned out beautiful! Did it look like my original desire? No, but like I said, I was OK with that. Since then, Jamie has been very unprofessional and it amazes me that a business owner does not care about her clients feelings, and that she is rude and insulting to her unsatisfied customer. Enclosed are pictures. The top left is what my original vision was, the top right is my before picture. The bottom left is after session one, the middle is after session too. That last picture is what my mom was able to do.

Male Haircut Review: After searching for a new hair stylist, I came across raving reviews for Salon Argent. I booked an appointment about two days in advance. Overall, it was a pleasant experience by itself, but falls short compared to my previous experience with another stylist. As a guy, its difficult to gauge what types of services youll be getting. A haircut costs $25. This comes with shampoo, conditioner, and styling. Kecia did a good job with my hair, although the sideburns were uneven (simple fix at home though) and missed touching up the back of my neck (hairline was fine, but below the collar wasnt cleaned up). Overall, it wasnt terrible but the attention to detail was lacking for me. As a guy, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

I hate to do this, but a couple of months ago I got in for a much needed haircut before an important appt. I travel a lot and-- as an unknown customer in an unfamilar city, Ive had surprisingly good results, no real regrets, even at budget-price salons. And yet in this elegant Salon Argent for an "elegant" price, I certainly didnt expect to get the WORST HAIRCUT of my life!!! I couldnt do anything to make it look presentable, no matter what I tried! Within a week, I had to go to another salon to make sense of whatever my hair was, I ended up paying them to cut it into something i recognized when I looked in the mirror. $ 80 between the 2 just for something I could tolerate!

My first time there as I am new to the town.I like the place and I am so happy with my haircut. I went for Kristin Miller specifically because a co-worker had recommanded her. Kristin is AMAZING!!! Super friendly "I had a great customer service" , talented and passionate about what she does. She did my hair exactly how I wanted it. Thank you so much Kristin :)

Jamie went WAY above and beyond during my appointment today. She cut and styled my hair better than any stylist ever has, and she did this while listening and talking to me like a true friend. Highly recommend this gem of a stylist. Thank you Jamie!

Im so excited to find someone who can take my hair from medium brown to blond and it feels healthier! She also found the perfect color for my skin tone, no other stylist has even talked to me about that. Jamie is fun and personable! Love it!
