My 7 year old son spent about 6 months growing his hair out so he could wear it in a longer style. It was finally to the length he wanted, so I took him in to this salon to have his hair cleaned up around the edges. I told the stylist that he didnt want ANY length off, he just wanted it shaped into a style. She asked me if I wanted the back of his hair trimmed up to match my younger sons and I said "no, longer than that." and said I just wanted the back cut short enough to blend with the length in the front. She seemed to understand me, but instead she cut about two inches off the front of my sons hair, stacked the back and clipper cut around his ears! He is essentially right back wear he started 6 months ago. I dont think I have ever been so poorly listened to in my life. My son is so sad! And I am raging mad! I regret stepping foot inside the salon at all! The stylist didnt charge us for the cut and she DID apologize, but she also tried to imply that it was MY poor explanation that was to blame for the TERRIBLE hair cut. I will never be back to this salon, and I am so broken hearted for my son. While he stood in the corner of the salon trying to hide his tears the stylist had the nerve to try to talk him into liking the cut and when that didnt work sort of shrugged it off and told him "it will grow back."

Tonight I went to Perfect Look to have my daughters hair trimmed between regular cuts. I chose it very specifically because the ad said they dont take appointments - they operate exclusively on a walk-in basis, and they dont want to waste their clients precious time. When we walked in, the person working couldnt wait to turn us away because their remaining time had all been claimed by people who were not there but had called in. If thats not an appointment, I dont know what is?!? And it certainly wasted my time. The woman was completely unapologetic about the whole thing - she just seemed eager to get rid of us. The only good news was that she had fairly awful hair, so it would have been nerve-wracking to have her touch my childs hair. The other good news is that we went down the street to Sport Clips, where they were welcoming and helpful and did a great job. The woman who cut my childs hair said she used to work at Perfect Look and wasnt surprised by our experience there.

Disappointing to say the least. I took my 7 year old to get his hair cut for school. He had been growing his hair out all summer so he could choose a style he wanted. After picking one out he liked, he sat patiently and still while his hair was being cut. When Julianna from the South Salem salon was done and it didnt look anything like what he had picked out, I was livid. Needless to say, we paid $14 (includes a shampoo that he didnt get and a hair cut) and went home. If anyone who knows me reads this, you should know how hard it was for me to just leave. Normally I would have informed Julianna of my disappointment and refused to pay for her services. Instead I wrote this review and hopefully people read these before going. I know I will next time.

Have had mine, my husbands and my sons haircut at this Perfect Look for 14 years. The staff is always friendly and it is clean and well kept. They try to get you in right away and have reasonable prices and good product selection. This always have comfortable seating and up to date reading material if you do have to wait. When my son was small they always had lots of patience with him squirming around.

searched and searched after moving here for a good hair cut lady and got several bad hair cuts, finally two months ago I found her! Great hair cuts and fun to talk too I would recommend this particular one to all!

Hands smell like smoke, nice enough lady. Haircut was about a 2. Charged me 20.95 for cut and shampoo. I didnt even get a shampoo. This is a rip-off!!!
