Their service is a needed one in the area, however they are VERY HAPHAZARD in their communication. They are expensive, they do not follow the curriculum for the children that they advertise on their informational handouts, some of the staff are VERY SHORT with the children(raising voices in an improper manner and extremely antagonistic from what I have personally witnessed), and their busing of the children from place to place is a complete disaster! I would also argue with the previous commentator that it is not true that "They run child care at each elementary school site." This was changed in some schools while not passing the information on to the parents even though they were asked directly what the status was of the program and they knew the program was not going to be offered in some locations. Willamalane had plenty of prior notice that they were not going to be in particular schools. (typical of an institution that cares about a bottom line, rather than a child that they are supposedly there to serve). I would also mention that the previous comment appears to be from their standpoint (i.e. an employee, board member, or paid staff member as they do not allude to their relationship with Willamalane.) Also, there are plenty of private care providers in the area who are licensed through the state. They have lower adult to child ratios, they provide more valuable educational and playtime activities, they provide more nutritional snacks and meals, AND they are even cheaper than Willamalanes program. JUST SEARCH YAHOO, They list plenty of them. The only reason I did not rate them lower is that there is staff there that is decent, the service is needed in this region, and there was no abuse. This is till UNACCEPTABLE. Otherwise I would rate them even lower! If you decide to use their services, I would suggest keeping a very close eye throughout the year as to how your child is taken care of in all of these respects and communicating your concerns to them and in other ways such as this review process. I would also like to say that Willamalane as a local organization is a positive and enriching program for the community. The comments made here by me APPLY ONLY TO THE KIDS CLUB PROGRAM.

Want to talk about the inmates running the asylum, this place is the poster child. For a facility that boasts about their service to Springfield they really do a horrific job at it. Rarely any space available to drop by and play volleyball or basketball, they cater to the expensive rentals of 1 kid and 1 parent per court. Are you Fing kidding me?!?!?!?! Their kids programs are ALWAYS full and not because people are paying for the programs, more illegals or welfare lifers have taken over this aspect. On more than a handful of occasions I have had to listen to families talk about how this program is free or they pay almost nothing when I pay close to $200 for my son to be in childcare 4-5 days a week for 2 hours. Not fair at all. Maybe give real citizens of this country a break instead of these people. Maybe tell Terry Fackrell to get her head out of her a**, maybe tell Jason Elluhsalde to learn about how to run a business and not have his staff constantly run their mouth about how much they hate working there when a customer is in front of them. FIGURE IT OUT MORONS!

As a Sports Facility, it is good for volleyball tournament Space for teams and spectators. The court areas are a little small and volleyball court lines are black on dark plastic tiles. The facility signage call it Willamalane Center so dont let this confuse you.

Love working out here, always room and everyones friendly. Were just red necks having a good time. If you dont like it here, thats your own fault. Best staff anywhere. Equipment needs updating a little, but all in all, a great experience.

This is a great center for anything related to sports. I happened to be climbing there, but there are basketball courts, tennis courts, ping pong tables... you name it, and its (probably) there!

i had a very poor experience with this sport center, they wouldnt let me "get your play on" because they wouldnt set a net up for me!!!
