I had a hard time finding a new CF box when I moved to Portland. I joined one for an entire year that wasnt a good fit and started thinking that maybe CF wasnt for me anymore. Then, I visited CF Tigard PAW and it changed everything. This is an amazing facility with a variety of classes, great coaches, and accessories, proteins, etc. for purchase at a great price. The coaches here are amazing, they explain technique so well and really care about the safety of their members. I recently got a wrist injury and the coaches have been nothing but helpful with modifying basically every single workout for me, I am super grateful for them. I workout in the evenings so I mainly have Ben and PJ as coaches and I must say they are truly amazing. The energy and expertise they bring to every class is top notch. The community here is awesome - theres always some event happening and everyone is super supportive and welcoming. Its family friendly too with a space for kids to play while their parents workout. Not only has this been a great place to continue my love of CF and achieve my fitness goals, but the owner PJ has also been amazing with my nutrition. I signed up for his 13 week nutrition program and was not disappointed. I thought I knew everything I needed about nutrition, but I was wrong. PJ is a true expert and helped me reach weight goals that I didnt even know were possible. I managed to shake off those last few pounds that never want to leave. It came with hard work, but was so much easier with PJs programming and support. This is all around a fantastic and gym with so much to offer. I absolutely recommend it to anyone in their CF journey whether youre experienced or brand new to it.

I drop into Crossfit Tigard PAW regularly, including attending their special events. Its an awesome place to work out! The overall atmosphere is extremely positive and supportive. They welcome people of all levels of fitness. The coaches are friendly and attentive which is important since Crossfit involves some technical lifts. If youre new to Crossfit (or not) they will be there to help you perform the movements correctly to avoid injury. Their website claims to be the best equipped Crossfit box in Portland and I believe it. The place is huge with two main workout rooms. There is tons of space to work out and plenty of equipment and different weights for everyone. Theres also a play room so people can bring their kids which is great. If I lived closer I would totally make Crossfit Tigard PAW my main box. However, Ill still be visiting whenever I can because I really enjoy spending time there!

The thing that I enjoy the most about Crossfit P.A.W. is that their coaches are extremely helpful and are willing to work with you as you progress. They arent put out that they have to scale the various exercises. I also like that there is instruction during each class. The thing that amazes me the most is that they are able to have such a diverse group of people working out simultaneously. Men and women. Beginners and experts. The weak and the strong. Ive attempted to do the whole Crossfit thing on my own and it just isnt the same. Theres something about having PJ (the owner) or Ben encouraging you to keep going when you want to quit that just cant be replicated in your own little home gym. Im a results-oriented person so Id be remiss to leave out the fact that Ive experienced huge strides in the two and a half months Ive been attending.

I have been at P.A.W. for a few years now and there is no place I would rather work out. I truly appreciate each staff member and all that they offer to make my experience so great. It is very evident that every coach cares about my well-being and is invested in helping me reach my goals. I show up 4-6 days a week because I feel so supported. I feel motivated by the staff and fellow members to push through any obstacles that arise. I have not been to any other CrossFit gym, but I have heard from other members who have that our gym far surpasses anything that other gyms have to offer in the way of technical support, gym equipment, and professionalism. I highly recommend that any person serious about their fitness come check us out!

Ive been training at P.A.W. for about a year and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Head Coach P.J. and staff provide a great mix of high intensity intervals for metabolic conditioning, and down&dirty iron pumping for strength training. They provide the best programmed warmups Ive ever experienced - which are designed to really prepare you for the movements to be performed that day - and are often a challenging little mini-WOD. For those who are not satisfied with the level of work during the normal workout, they provide plenty of programmed supplemental work for anyone wanting to take it to the next level, which I love. Great members, great coaches, great box!

This gym is everything I want out of my workout routine. The workouts are challenging but accessible and the coaches explain in detail how to scale movements to make them effective for ANY level. That said, if you are already really fit they encourage you to push yourself. They focus 100% on safety and form before bumping weight, so when you make gains they are HUGE at first. The coaches are all fabulous, not a single person Im not happy to see teach my class. My schedule is a little wild, so I also love the range of classes time-wise. I dont consider myself a gym rat at all, but I look forward to coming every day and feel SO good about my body.

The entire time I was at Crossfit P.A.W. I loved it. Crossfit is an amazing sport, but the people you train with make all the difference. The coaches at P.A.W. are incredibly supportive and very knowledgeable, a top priority is safety and form. After moving out of Portland I realized how spoiled I had been at P.A.W. Not every Crossfit box is going to foster your growth the way that this one does. Plus the people are super fun! I barely recognized myself after 3 months of hard work, Im hooked on Crossfit and am so thankful for all of the good habits I formed, and inspiring people I met wile training at P.A.W.

First of all, the coaches at Crossfit P.A.W. have created a very welcoming, non-threatening environment for every person that walks in the door. Its a really fun place to be! Being new to Crossfit, the coaches have been extremely helpful in teaching proper technique, and are always positive and encouraging as they correct form. In addition, Ive loved the cheering and accountability you get from working out with a group. I am pushed farther than I ever thought possible because Im surrounded with people pushing me on! Feels so good to be getting stronger!

Simply put, CrossFit PAW is the greatest. I have been working out there for about 6 months and cant say enough good things. The coaches are fantastic, motivating, and incredibly thorough about form and skills to prevent injury- they can modify the exercises to any level of athlete while still making you feel like you are getting the ultimate work out. I highly recommend CrossFit PAW whether you are a seasoned CrossFitter or just looking to try it out. You wont find a better staff or a more supportive, encouraging community than this one.
